Three Days of Peace, Love, & Skateboarding


This short film is about a three day skateboarding contest where professional skateboarder face off for prize money. Each day is a different challenge for money, the first day is the Pizzey Bowl challenge. It's basically an sqaure shaped Pool with a Channel (roll-in gap). Here's a list of some of what went down & the prize money:
Shane Cross - Backside Noseblunt - $400
Kyle Berard - Backside Sugarcane revert - $100
Omar Hassan - Heelflip Frontside air in corner, 540 spin, & for being overall ripper of the day - $800
Chet Childress - bluntslide to backside disaster - $150
Chad Bartie - frontside nosegrind - $100
Steven Humphries - barefoot fakie noseblunt - $50
Seb - barefoot 5-0 revert - $50
Jesse Newnan - barefoot lipslide and back - $100
Zach MacKay - kickflip frontside air in corner - $50
Sean Kelly - frontside hurricane - $50
Matt Mumford - Frontside boneless over channel, Best trick over channel back lip, & for being overall ripper of the day - $600
Joel Webb - overall ripping - $50
Noah Phillips - Frontside air revert - $50
Adam Dyet - kickflip melon grab - $100,
Alex Chalmers - Best trick down "escalator" switch tailslide - $350
A total of Three Thousand Dollars in prize money won.

On the second day of the competition some of the most amazing mini ramp skating ever seen went down on Globe's Mini Madness. There was about 500 people at attendance and they were catered to free alcoholic beaverage and food. Jake Phelps, Brian Schaefer and Ryan Clements were on the mics and handing over the cash as the tricks went down. Here's a list of some of what went down & the prize money:
Chris Haslem - F/s blunt late shoveit, Blunt 360 flip fakie, F/s blunt up extension, Blunt double kickflip out, rock to kickflip fakie, blunt kickflip fakie, nosepick on extension, blunt to late shove fakie, Overall session winner - $1600 (JEZZ! CALM DOWN HASLAM!)
David Gonzales- 540 backside boneless, kickflip front noseblunt, nolie bigspin f/s noseblunt revert, fakie 360 flip to noseblunt, kickflip frontside 5-0, Overall session winner - $1150 (WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY FEEDING KIDS THESE DAYS!?)
Terrel Robinson - spiderman footplant fakie - $100
Greg Lutzka - switch 360 flip - $100
Alex Chalmers - bomb drop off roof, invert on extension - $200
Chet Thomas backside 360 ollie kickflip, half cab kickflip varial - $150
Chad Bartie b/s ollie tail on extension - $100
Jack Fardell blunt fakie on extension, Noseblunt nollie heel in, F/s disaster up extension, backside ollie, lein to tail up extension, iceplant fakie on extension, kickflip rock slide on extension - $600
Mark Appleyard - just for showing up, nollie bigspin to tail, 360 flip to fakie - $150
Adam Dyet - frontside air, f/s tailslide 360 out, kickflip lein melon - $250
Russel Grundy - cab backfoot flip, 360 backside kickflip - $150
Some random guy did a for $50
A total of Four Thousand Seven Hundred dollars in prize money won.

The third and last day of the competition was pretty intense 2000 people in the crowd this time. there was security and barricades around the Varsity double set (6/7). It was complete madness as one after another, guys hucked themselves down the beast. Congrats to all of the skaters who showed up and threw themselves down the beast. Now for the List:
Terrel Robinson - first kickflip down double set, 50/50 on hubba - $1000
Greg Lutzka - frontside kickflip, fakie kickflip, Bonus Money for tricks - $3000
Paul Rodriguez - varial heelflip, Bonus Money for tricks - $1000
Chima Ferguson - backside 360, Bonus Money for tricks - $1500
Stefan Janoski - switch kickflip, Bonus Money for tricks - $1500
Sierra Fellers - switch heelflip, tuck knee, Ollie North (1foot ollie), Bonus Money for tricks - $2700
Jesse Newnan - barefoot ollie - $500
Adam Dyet - switch backside heelflip, being crowned Winner - $30500
$300 given to Brian Schaefer to pay back from yesterday's contest incentive (used prize money).
A total of Forty Two Thousand Dollars in prize money won (except for $300).

Fifty Thousand Dollars in total of the three days was given in prize money. Here's a link to the video that represent the three days of competition, enjoi cause it was amazing. I'm not really into the pool riding, so the prizzy pool wasn't all that for me, but I must admit that it was still pretty crazy.
