i really hate my dear old mum right now.
basically, sometime in november, i asked her if i could get my lip pierced. she said no, so i made a deal with her. if i could get my math average up to 80 by the next term, she'd let me get my lip pierced. but it was only gonna be a stud, and on the side. i didn't want a stud, because they're known to wear down the gums and teeth, but she doesn't like rings. so whatever.
about a week ago, i got my report card. 76% in math. i was completely stressed out about it because i really wanted that lip piercing. mom's understanding about it, though, because i did bring my average up 16 marks in less than two months, and i had an overall average of 89%. so she agrees to get the piercing for me. if my dad says yes.
that wasn't the agreement in the beginning, but i figure that if i let her talk to dad about it, she might be able to work her way into getting him to let me get my piercing.
she talked to dad on it once, he said no.
but the thing is now, she's on his side on the issue, even though she had already agreed to let me get the piercing. and my sister just made things worse by going to the dentist and getting told that her labret is wearing away her gums and teeth. but her piercing is on the front of her mouth, and she wears a metalback labret instead of a plasticback or a ring.
it's completely unfair. i don't even have one piercing yet (besides my ears). my sister had her belly button pierced by the time she was my age, and i can't even get my lip pierced?
absolutely ridiculous.
