Little trinket,
Where have you traveled?
From where are your origins?
Were you created in some distant land?
Where your mineral soul became harvested by the machines of our time; then shipped away to the domicile of creation.
Where many other contrivances just like you were brought to be?
And what happened next?
Were you then gathered up with your fellow carbon copies and and captured in a plastic prison to travel to the commonly known hardware store?
Were you then gazed upon by hundreds of pairs of white pupil dots?
And I wonder did the fingers of the hands of your future proprietor then embrace you?
Then carry you home to be embed on a device of enjoyment for a family?
Did you grow with them over the years? This sign of rust that lies upon you suggests this.
But how you came to my school I do not know.
I can only wonder, trinket, I can only wonder.
