-------She driving me to the train station. I'm her passenger princess, our fingers interlocked, our hands on rest my thigh. Her lover over the car speaker on a phone call. I'm silently just listening with my eyes close as she talks about her day. A lie hidden in plain sight, a simple truth with hidden undertones, an omission of a grander scheme; all peppered into her conversation. He doesn't know. I don't think he'll ever know.
-------"I'll call you back later babe," she says. "I gotta call my mom, she left me a voice mail earlier and I haven't had the time to call her back."
-------"Okay, I love you. Tell her I said hi. Drive safe," He says over the airwaves.
-------"I love you too, muah." She gestures a kiss. He does the same before hanging up.
-------I open my eyes again, and I look at her. She looks at me and smiles fondly before shifting her gaze back onto the road.
-------"My mom didn't really call, I just wanted to share more time with you. I can't believe you're leaving already." She grips my hand.
-------I just smile and look at her fondly.
-------"You know, I feel like you complete me in someway," She says.
-------"Really? How so?" I question.
-------"Well I'm full of life and anxious energy. That phone call right now was thrilling," Her hand shakes a little. "While you're so calm and collected."
-------"I'm just dead inside," I jokingly reply.
-------"And we balance each other out because of it. You complete me." She lets go of my hand and places it back onto the steering wheel to do a turn. Afterwards she places her touch back onto my thigh.
-------I painfully smile at the sentiment before shifting my hand over hers. Our fingers intertwine again, her colorful nails glistening turqouise under the passing street lights. I notice the arch at Grand Army Plaza from the distance. We're arriving close to the train station.
-------I wonder how long this will last. I've been in this situation before back in 2014, with this Korean girl named Jenn and her Australian boyfriend. That time it ended violently. I don't think he ever knew of my existence. I exploded all the suppressed feelings I had and poured it onto her. She didn't deserve that. Years down the line I eventually apologized before losing her contact completely. What am I doing with my life? I think about that as we pull up towards the station. She flips her emergency lights and stops at the corner of the street.
-------I grab my bag from between my legs. She lets go of my hand and places it gently under my chin pulling my attention towards her blue eyes. She leans in and I close my eyes. I feel her lips plant against mine, a familiar taste of tangerine lipgloss that I've been feeding on all day. She bites my lower lip before sliding her tongue on top of mine. I moan softly before pulling back to breathe. I open my eyes again to see her flushed face.
-------"Do me a favor, and keep living on for me okay?" She begs softly.
-------"Thats very selfish of you," I sigh.
-------"Well... I am a selfish person," she laughs tenderly. "When will I see you again?"
-------I shrug before opening the door. "Until next time I suppose."
-------I get out and start walking towards the underground steps of the subway station. I turn back to look but by then she had already driven off.

My Book
I've been writing in this since I was thirteen in 2007. I still am writing in it, and it will probably be my legacy till the day I die. (Don't start reading from the beginning as my writing was atrocious then.)
