Chapter 38: {surprise gay sex, because potatoes wahmbulance }

Arthur was a wreak talking to the Pastor, but the older man was rather kind and soft spoken. He was more then happy to hold a wedding ceremony for the Elder. However it took a bit of talking into to convince the man to get onto the waiting Vertibird that was outside the city. Returning to the base, they head for the same area they had used for the signal interceptor. What was left of it had been taken apart awhile ago. The only thing that had been left behind were the row of couches. Arthur was never really sure what to do with them, so he just left the whole thing alone. Pastor Clements looks around, he had never been out here before. "So where's the bride to be?" He was more then ready to get started. Poor Arthur looked horrified as he shuffles a bit. "She's still on the ship...but." He looks down at himself, he hardly felt ready. Nate chuckles a bit, he remembered that feeling. "You know, I have an idea, Pastor if you'll give us a minute..?" The man nods as Nate finds a quiet place to talk with the Elder. "Don't feel to bad, I was a mess when I got married, I worried if I say something wrong or do something stupid." He goes into his large duffel-bag as he pulls something out. "I don't know why I picked this up, but you may as well use it.." Arthur takes the folded outfit to see it was a slightly used black tux. It barely had any holes in it. He feels his face heat up. "Thank you...Nate.." It was the first time he hadn't addressed him as Paladin, or soldier.

Nate pats his back lightly. "You're a good man, I may not know a lot about you, but your heart is in the right place.." He takes a step back. "I'll go get her, I suggest you get yourself ready and don't worry, I won't say a word." He just nods as Nate heads for the ship. Meanwhile, down in the deepest parts of the ship, Sara was rubbing her head as Ingram was working to get the water boiler working. "Damn thing keeps breaking down..." Sara was just trying to figure out how the thing worked in the first place. "What in the world is holding this thing together." "Duct tape and good luck....mostly tape.." Sara turns to Ingram slowly as the woman just gives her a cocky smile. "Holy s**t woman...you should be happy we haven't gone down in the blaze of glory because of this time bomb." "Hey it works..." Sara shakes her head at that. "For how long?" She sighs a bit, this was going to take awhile to fix. There was so much to repair. They had been working on it ever since as Nate finally finds them. Sara wipes off her forehead as they place the last bit of it together. Ingram turns it on, and it starts to work again. "There we go, good as new." Sara lets out a low snort. "Oh no one asked you.." Sara slowly gets up and jumps when she sees Nate. "Hey." He just smiles at her. "Are you finished here?" She turns to Ingram and nods. "For now, until it breaks again." "Hey!" She chuckles a bit as Ingram crosses her arms. "Good, follow me.." Sara blinks at this and follows after him. "Where are we going..?" "You'll see." He takes her hand as they head out the ship to the waiting Vertibird and head down to the base.

She wasn't sure where he was leading her, but she remains behind him. They made it to what was left of the front lobby of what used to be the airport. There waiting for her was Arthur, all dressed up. She had to be dreaming as Nate leads her to him. "Found her.." She rises her brow at this. "Like I'm a hard person to find. No matter, what is all this?" Arthur takes her hand, looking nervous as all hell as the Pastor steps out. "Ah, you made it." Her eyes light up a bit as she looks between the both of them. "Oh..you cheeky devil." He just shrugs at this as the Pastor lets out a low cough. "Lets get started shall we. We are gathered here today to join these two together. May you two find an ever lasting happiness and joy until death do you part. Do you take this woman, to be your wife?" Arthur tightens his hold on her hands. "I do.." The Pastor nods at this and turns to her. "And do you take this man to be your husband?" She smiles at this. "I do.." She doesn't bother to wait as she leaps up and kisses him deeply. The Pastor just shrugs at this, but smiles nonetheless. Piper was crying as Nate turns to her. "Why are you crying?" Even Danse was a bit lost. Piper just hides her face. "Oh shut up.." Once Arthur lets her go the Pastor hands him something. "Here, don't worry, it's just proof of your marriage, you can sign it if you like." Arthur takes a look, it was a simple certificate, proving she was now his wife. He couldn't help but smirk at this, now no one could tell him any different.

Arthur shakes his hand. "Thank you for your service, I suppose I can make it up to you by returning you to Diamond City." The Pastor just waves his hand at this. "I'll be fine, I much prefer to keep my feet on the ground young man, but thank you.." He turns and just starts to walk. "I'll make sure he gets back in one piece." Nate follows after him as well as Piper and Danse. Piper still crying a bit as Sara shakes her head. "Why is there also one person that cries at wedding, I don't get it..." Arthur just shrugs his shoulders at this. She turns to him, running her fingers over his outfit. "So where did you get this hmm?" He gives her a rather charming smile. "You have your secrets, I have mine." It was slight pay back for her not telling him where she had gotten that dress some time ago. "You look very dashing..." Even if it was missing the tie, he still looked dead hot in it. Though she could tell it was the wrong size because she could see the outline of muscle just so close to tearing it apart. He hands his head as he places both his hands on her hips. "I just...wanted to do something...even if it was simple." She smiles at him warmly. "I'm fine with simple, heh, so does this make me a Maxson now?" He rises his brow at this. "Is..that how this...normally works?" He had never seen a wedding, let alone hold his own, so the question was genuine. She couldn't help but giggle at how large his eyes got. "Normally yes, when you get married, you can take your spouses name. Mine never really meant that much to me but..." He stops her there as he feels his face warm. "It's..fine..."

It might take him awhile to get used to the idea, but it warmed his heart at the idea. He wasn't sure why, but it made him happy. He places his hand on her cheek before kissing her lightly. "Sentinel Maxson does have a ring to it.." He muses to himself as she laughs softly. "So you really don't mind?" He shakes his head after a moment. "Might as well have someone carry on my name in some form. Oddly I feel...honored.." She moves forward as she kisses him lightly. "So what now, I helped fixed that boiler you got. Or what you call a boiler.." He lets out a low huff. He wasn't sure what to do now. "Depends on what most newly married couples do on their wedding day..." She arches her brow at him, he really was innocent at times. "You really have no idea?" He glances at her as she tugs at his tux. She watches his eyes darken. "Ah..." His brows narrow a bit. If they return to the ship it wouldn't take long for someone to pull him away or something else to get in his way. He gets an idea however as he takes her hand. She just giggles as she follows after him to a Vertibird. The pilot was humming something to himself when Arthur pokes his head in. "Lancer." The poor man jumps as he salutes the man. "Elder Maxson, sir!" "Take us to the top of the Mass Fusion building." He looked confused until Sara jumped in. "Howdy!" He looked confused, but just nods and takes off, knowing better then to argue against the man in charge. Once they made it Arthur just waves him off and the poor man just takes off to return to the base.

It was so quiet up there, with nothing more then the wind passing through. Well they were alone, so there was no chance of anyone bothering them. She smirks at this as she walks over to him. "You really are a cheeky devil. You should just build your own space somewhere in the base one of these days. Or at least invest in one of those do not disturb signs.." "Like it would do me any good...but I do like the idea.." He hated to have to fly out just to have a moment alone with her. They had been lucky so far, but it was bound to run out at some point. And he would hate to be in the middle of something only for someone to bother them and just not take the hint. Being a Elder had it's downsides, but it had it's perks. "Do me a favor.." He rises his bow at this. "Leave the shirt on when we make love.." She pulls him in and kisses him deeply. He lets out a low growl as he pushes her into the building. He had no plans to let her go for awhile. Meanwhile in Diamond City Nate made his way to Home Plate. He had gotten it awhile ago, but never bothered to use it. Danse was able to leave his power armor outside as they enter the small house. The most Nate managed to get was a couch, ignoring the back half that was still full of junk. He rubs the back of his head. "Sorry for the mess, as you can tell I don't come here often.." Danse moves around slowly, wearing the orange jump suit he normally wore under his armor. "Then why buy it if you don't use it?" Nate shrugs at this. "I was hoping it would be a new start...but that idea went through the cracks." It takes Danse a moment to realize what he was talking about. "O-oh...sorry.." "Don't be..."

Nate cracks open a small container he had and pulls out a beer. He holds one to Danse and he takes it, joining him on the large couch. Of course the only thing they could look at was his wall. Nate lets out a low sigh. "I miss TV, at least it was something to watch. It wasn't always the best, but sometimes they had good movies playing and...you have no idea what I'm talking about..." He sighs at this as Danse keeps his eyes on the wall. "I've read about how they used to work. Once in awhile during scouting missions we'd find one. I always wondered what was so fascinating about them..." Nate moves a bit closer as he places his arm on Danse shoulders. Danse doesn't seem to mind. "Well, it's almost like listening to the radio, late at night, when it's raining. There was something always relaxing, to do nothing but sit next to someone..." Danse feels his face go warm at this. He was still figuring out the whole synth thing. He was still confused, mostly because, even with the truth, he still felt human, he still thought the same way, nothing had changed. Just that he had extra equipment in his head somewhere, that's what made him a synth. His body still worked the same way, and right now, he was pressing against his tight jump suit, and Nate takes notice. It was clear Danse had never had a partner of any kind. The Brotherhood seemed to have this hard ideal to work first, find happiness second. Nate was slightly glad that was changing.

Nate moves, straddling Danse as his eyes light up at this. "What...?" Nate places his finger on his lips. "Shh...don't talk.." He sits himself on Danse's lap as he grinds against him. Danse lets out a hard groan as he places his hands on Nate's hip out of instinct. Nate moves in and bites at his neck, hearing Danse moan louder. Danse had no idea what Nate was up to, but as he bucked his hips, he wasn't sure he cared. He just wanted more. Nate smirks at this as he helps Danse out of his uniform. "I never did tell Nora, I used to date men when I was a teen. When...I met her, I tried to convince myself it was just a passing faze, but I know now I was wrong.." Danse looks up at Nate, only sitting in his briefs. Nate couldn't help but chuckle at that. It takes Danse a moment to say anything as Nate removes his own clothes. "Nate...are you saying...you want to be with me...even knowing?" Nate rolls his eyes at this as he strips away the last of his clothes. He watches Danse's eyes go south very quickly. "You're more human then you give yourself credit for Danse. I don't care...I...care about you, deeply.." Danse lets out a low gulp at this before looking at Nate. His brown eyes wide with wonder. "Are you're saying your in...love, with me? That doesn't make sense." Nate just smiles as he slides the last piece of clothes off the Paladin. "Danse, what's to understand, you're over thinking things. Which I admire about you, but you're letting this information cloud your mind. Maxson's letting it go..." Danse looks down again as he nods slowly. "I never done this before...with anyone.." Nate kisses him lightly, and to his surprise, Danse returns it, letting out a soft moan.

Nate bits at his neck again. "Shh...just sit back...enjoy yourself.." Danse was panting under him as he starts to grind against him again. It had been a good number of years since he had done this. But he could feel the familiar tingle go down his spine, if he had to be honest, he missed that feeling. He wouldn't dare ask Nora to, pleasure him that way with anything. He had kept so much from her, now, Nate could start over, he was going to make it right. Danse as breathing harder now, gripping Nate tightly. "Nate...!" He was getting close just by touch alone, poor man. Nate slows it down a touch, using his pre to coat his stiffness. "It'll be alright..." Danse lets out a breathy sigh as Nate glides his hand over him. The man under him was already pulsing. Nate bites his lip, moving up and feeling his tip press into him. Danse watches Nate and he almost lets out a loud moan when Nate starts to shift him into a rather tight spot. Nate doesn't stop until he was fully inside and Danse was seeing stars. He starts pumping his hips, wanting more. Nate moans out as he throws his head back. "Danse....harder!" Danse complies, thrusting harder, keeping a good hold on Nate. His hand travels down to Nate's manhood as rolls his hand over him. A small strangling sound echos out of his mouth, he really missed this.

Danse couldn't hold back anymore, and after a few hard pumps of his hips, he came hard and Nate stiffens at the rush. He shutters as he hits his own release, coating Danse's chest with his seed. Unable to move, Danse gives one last weak thrust and they both sit there, breathless. Nate just leans forward slowly, laying his head on Danse's shoulder. "God I needed that..." Danse was a bit breathless, he had no idea how much he had needed that as well. "I never experienced anything like that before." Nate looks up at him and smirks. "And?" "I liked it..well, this...you, I'm not sure.." Nate lets out a low chuckle. "You're cute when your confused.." Danse blushes at this as he tries to hide his face. "It's fine you know, we have all the time in the world to figure this out. After all I'm sure as hell not going anywhere." Danse laughs at this as he holds Nate close to him. "Thank you..for...this..I still need time to sort out these feelings..." Nate silences him with a kiss. "Take your time, I'm taking a nap." He nuzzles into Danse and closes his eyes. He hears a low laugh as they both lay out on the couch. Nate falls asleep after awhile and Danse watches him. He takes a slow breath before he falls asleep as well. If this is what love was like, Danse could get used to the idea. He tightens his hold on Nate as he turns, keeping him safe as they both slept peacefully.
