naruto~i still don’t understand why ann is a ninja...

he swung his arm at her, but ann raised her cane to stop him and hit him once with it

naruto~that cane should be illegal

naruto~no! She is visually impaired and got scores as good as sasuke! She can’t even read!

She hit him again before ravi lead ann away from him

Before she could jump in it sasuke pulled her away
sasuke~you know you’re not supposed to jump in puddles unless it’s raining
she pouted and went back to ann
kakashi~at least they’re settled now...but that puddle is out of place...it hasn’t rained in months
after a few moments from passing the puddle, they were ambushed by mist ninjas. Kakashi was torn apart, and the gennin held them off until kakashi intervened
kakashi~good job guys
sakura~if you were fine this whole time why didn’t you take care of it sooner?!
kakashi~had to get information why they attacked us. And it’s because they are after the bridge builder

Kakashi tried pressing the bridge builder about what was going on. on the row boat, tazuna finally relented and explained to the team his situation and why he had to lie about the difficulty of the mission. After arriving on shore, they continued on

kakashi~are you doing any better ann?
ann~i guess. I hear something I don’t recognize though...
kakashi~what’s it sound like?
ann~almost like footsteps, but not quite. What is naruto doing?
She heard him throw a kunai
ann~why are you wasting weapons?

sakura~what is your problem?!

she went into the bush to find the kunai
ann~it stopped
ravi~naruto! You almost hurt this bunny!
Naruto yelped and went over to her. They brought it back to show kakashi
kakashi~doesn’t seem like you hurt it. it’s just stunned. odd...that rabbit is white...must’ve been raised indoors...get down!
Kakashi managed to push the group to the ground as a sword flew past their heads. They saw it stop in a tree trunk overhead before a figure appeared on the handle
naruto~who is he?
kakashi~zabuza momochi. he’s an ex-ninja from the village hidden in the mist, and a former member of the seven swordsmen of the mist
ann~sounds like a dill-hole
kakashi~this is serious ann. he’s of the same level as me
zabuza~that’s what you think kakashi
he pulled his sword out from the tree and appeared between the team and tazuna
ravi~where’d he...?
before he swung, ann jabbed him with her cane and impaled him in the stomach with a kunai
kakashi~ann?
ann~he’s very noisy
he dispersed into water and they looked up in the clearing when they heard zabuza chuckle
zabuza~cheeky brat you have. You might have a chance. she is going to get it when I trap kakashi
kakashi~alright...ann, you clearly have an advantage. I need you to stay with tazuna and the team. This way, I can focus on zabuza
ann~fine…i’ll do as you say
kakashi~good. If anything else happens, I will protect you all with my life
he lifted his headband and took a kunai out at the ready
zbauza~hehehe I get to see the great sharingan kakashi
kakashi~but you won’t live to tell the tale. Your future ends here
the two ran forward as zabuza summoned a thick mist and clashed blades. Zabuza made another swing that drove his sword into the ground as kakashi ducked. Zabuza continued turning and kicked kakashi away and chased after him with his sword. He stopped near the shore line because of spike traps before jumping into the water

sakura~i can barely see what’s happening
ann~oh no the end of the world
naurto~shut up ann. We know you’re blind
ann~both zabuza and kakashi jumped into the water. That last attack from zabuza sounded like it hurt
tazuna~how can you tell what’s happening?
ann~being blind, you learn to hear what normally can’t be heard. they’re both light on their feet, but sensei shuffles his steps. Zabuza makes a lot of movement because of how big the sword is
ravi~you sure know a lot ann
ann~one is making hand seals
the mist cleared up enough to reveal kakashi trapped in a water prison and another water clone heading towards them
zabuza~now, to finish off the brats and kill the bridge builder
kakashi~all of you run! He can’t go anywhere without releasing me from his jutsu, and his clone can only go so far without him
sakura~but what about you?
kakashi~don’t worry about me. Just go!
naruto~what about you, old man?
Tazuna sighed~you’re all in this mess because of me
ann~yeah we are
tazuna~so I won’t be a burden any longer. You kids can do whatever you’d like
ann~is that enough for you guys?
sasuke~let’s make hell
ravi~got a plan?
ann~diversion and don’t get killed. Sakura, you’re not great in combat, so stay with the geezer
tazuna~hey...you should still respect your elders you know
ann hit him with her cane
ravi~i hope this is part of the diversion
naruto made a hand seal and went after the water clone
ann~ravi, when you can, throw a kunai at the clone. he’ll block and i’ll know where to go. Sasuke, I know you got something planned with naruto
after the clone threw off the naruto clones, ravi threw a kunai at him that he blocked. Ann quickly got to the clone before he could jump away
clone~you were never this eager to fight me ann
ann~well, you did almost slice our heads off
zabuza~you’ve known I was here since before the bunny

kakashi~those brats...never do anything I tell them to
zabuza~hehehe i’ll be sure that will be their last regret
he took his sword off and threw it at his clone, intending to cut through it and ann
kakashi~ann!
ann~now!
She struck the sword into the ground with her cane after it sliced through the clone. Sasuke threw a fuma shuriken at zabuza. He caught the weapon and jumped over a second shuriken that was hidden in the first’s shadow. The second transformed into naruto throwing a kunai at zabuza, forcing him to let go of the prison
zabuza~you little s**t!
He spun the shuriken in his hand, intending to strike at naruto, but ann had intervened by swinging upwards with the sword, stopping the shuriken
kakashi~has ann been holding back all these years? i’ve never seen her like this...
ann~you b*****d! You tried to kill me!
zabuza~well you didn’t die. Like you said i’m noisy as hell, brat
ann screamed and swung up and across. He avoided both attacks and punched ann in the face. Ann looked up at him with his fist still on her cheek
ann~you’re gonna have to do better than that to hurt me again
she kicked him causing him to tumble back. She placed the sword on her back and started to run after him had kakashi not stop her
kakashi~take naruto and go. you’ll end up killing us too if you continue
ann~i’m keeping the sword
she grabbed naruto by the scruff and walked off
kakashi~180, 30 degrees left
ann~i know where to go!
She followed his directions anyway

kakashi~she said again. Know what she’s talking about?
zabuza~probably the clone
kakashi~she could have easily killed you if I let her continue
zabuza~makes her more of a ninja than the rest of your brats

ravi~ann...i’ve never seen you like this
ann~the b*****d tried cutting me in half.
naruto~isn’t that what enemy ninjas are supposed to do?
Ann hit him again then looked back at the water
ann~what’s happening? there’s a lot of chakra going on there
sakura~there’s two water dragons. And sensei is making a bunch of hand signs. The other guy is just standing there
ann~i wonder why the dumbass is even bothering with his sight...
tazuna~you don’t fear him?
