For all my previous surgeries, I've written in this journal, so I might as well continue with this one.
On 07/12/18, I had my 4th ankle surgery to repair damage done to the joint. Through this or that, the cartilage had become diseased and needed to be cleaned out. The tendons, too, needed to be ... shaved down? I guess is the most accurate way to put that.
I saw pictures after the procedure, and I had these.. hair-like growths over the tendon on the top of the foot.
Recover is slow going, and I'm not sure what to do about money... my car broke down the same week as my surgery. That was a whopping $1400 bill that my dad paid.
How can I be a 27 year old and call myself a grown up? I can't keep a car or my body in one piece. Blech!
