To absolutely no one's surprise, I'm due for another surgery in a few weeks. However, to switch things up, this will be my first surgery on my hands.

My left thumb, the saddle joint needs to be fixed. Either by fusing the joint or by changing the angle at which it sits.

I don't exactly have a great record of healing from these types of procedures, and it didn't sound like this surgeon believed me when I said I have EDS.
