Tip #2:
We all have times where we need to do some kind of work we do not want to do.
What then? Do we suffer in procrastination anxiety? Do we just ditch the work altogether? Do we hop a flight to a one way trip out the country and start a new identity to escape responsibility?
NO!
We follow this tip.
Give yourself a reward for doing the work. Do you like sweets? Well, then do the work. And then treat yourself later to a nice treat.
Do you want some break time? Well, set a timer for about an hour or so. And after, take a break.
KEEP IN MIND:
- What is a realistic time span for you? Can you REALLY handle an hour with no snack or break?
- Do not have said reward readily available as it will be tempting (if you have poor self-control).
- Maybe someone else should keep the reward until you meet the requirements. Example: if your reward is a handful of gummy bears, keep the bag with your parents or siblings or whomever you live with. They can time you and give you the reward after.
I hope this helps! emotion_rainbow
