Chapter 30:

Sara held on tight as they flew threw the air. She wasn't used to it, but she loved how it felt. She had no idea where they were going as Trunks starts to head higher, making her tighten her grip even more. He smirked a bit as he finds the tower and heads up to the lookout. It was a large floating area, almost like it's own island in a sea of clouds. Trunks lands on the white marble that covered the ground as she lets go, looking around. The place had trees, flowers, and a large palace of some kind. Dende spots them and smiles. He hadn't had the chance to met the new comer just yet.

"Hey Trunks, welcome, we haven't met yet, I'm Dende, I'm the guardian of Earth." Sara blinks and takes his hand. "Nice to met you, you look like that Piccolo fellow." He lets out a low laugh. "We do come from the same planet, so what brings you two up here?" Trunks steps up as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "We came to use the time chamber, that is if no one else is using it." Dende shakes his head, no one had really used it now that Earth was experiencing a rare moment of peace. "No it's free, it should be ready to be used if you plan to use it the whole day." "That's the plan!" Trunks grabs her hand as he leads the way.

He was so excited, he didn't notice he was just kind of dragging her along for the ride. Dende leads them to a large door and opens it for them. "I don't think I have to tell you how it works.." Trunks just chuckles softly. "No, stay close and don't get lost, we have the whole day to train before the door opens, I remember." He just keeps a large smile on his face as he takes her in and shows her the place as the door closed in behind him. The first area was like it's own space. It had two beds, a storeroom full of food and off to the side was a bathroom.

Ahead, was the main part of the room as she stepped out to see nothing but an endless sea of white as the space around them just seemed to go one for miles and miles. "Whoa..." She stepped out into the open and shivered, even the air here was different as she took her time to get used to it. "Yeah it's a lot to take in when you first come on, you kind of get used to it, just wonder off to far, I don't think anyone has gotten lost, but lets not risk it shall we?" "Aye...kind of reminds me of a place I've been to, but you know, less fire." He lets out a low laugh as he soon steps out with her.

Deep down, he was looking forward to this. She was an interesting challenge and he found his Saiyan blood was just itching for a fight. She was already in her armor, so she didn't have to change as he got ready to see, just what she was made of. She was still having trouble separating her spirit energy and her magical, so for now, he would have to take it slow to show her how to form kai in her hands like she did with her magic. So the first few 'days' in the chamber he would sit with her and showed her how to meditate. She caught on quick as he would go through different steps to find her kai.

She figured it out after awhile and Trunks found that her natural spirit energy was rather impressive. He had to guess since she had been through so much, her experience had made her stronger than most. After that, he showed her how to push her energy to allow herself to fly. She figured that out after a few days or so and found it was like using a levitation spell, without having to worry about it running out. Trunks found he enjoying training someone, he didn't get to train Bulla since she wasn't much of a fighter like their mother. As they sat down to eat she was doing well for herself.

The armor Bulma made was holding up very well and even Trunks found using the armor was a good idea. His clothes would have been burnt to a crisp by now. He kept his eyes on her, as he was finding it hard to sit still for some reason. He does his best to ignore it, he had to think of something else. "I've been wondering, if you were back home, what would be doing?" She looks up as she gulps down her meal. "Honestly, not much, I know for a fact I would have sent one hell of a letter to the Order to give them a piece of my mind..." Her ears fold to the side.

The Order itself wasn't the worst thing she's ran into, but the fact they choose to ignore things for the 'greater good' didn't sit well with her. They had a way of seeming like they meant well without having to put in the effort to help. Sir Ryan seemed to be the only exception she ran into. "Other than that..I don't think I'd be doing much, probably go back to Faerûn, explore the towns I didn't get to see..." Trunks frowns a bit, the only thing she had was to just travel. No family, nothing, it was just her. "Kind of sounds lonely."

She gives him a small shrug. "It is what it is, I didn't have any major plans even when.." She feels herself blush a bit. "Even when I started a relationship with Anomen, I didn't really have much in mind on what to do with myself. The whole settling down thing just...I don't know." "I get it, after everything you've done it's hard to sit still and do nothing, trust me, I always got in trouble for not sitting still after fighting Buu." She giggles softly as she looks at him. "It's not easy, I mean, getting married seems like a fine idea, always wanted to find someone would would travel with me it's just..."

She turns her eyes to the side as she looks down. "That's..really all I can give.." He tilts his head to the side as he moved a bit closer. "What do you mean?" She feels herself blush as he got closer. "Well besides having to deal with my...condition, my partner would also have to understand, I wont be able to give them kids..." He leans back a bit, he never put much thought to it himself, having kids of his own. "Because of what happened to you when you got captured?" She shakes her head at him. "Oh heavens no, when I fought Baal, remember, when I stabbed him in the heart with my sword, he got me with his claw through my side."

She would show him, but she would have to take off the one piece suit and she wasn't going to flash the poor guy. "I was almost cut in half but somehow I survived, but after that I uh...stopped going into heat.." She feels her face turn red as she talked about this. It normally wasn't something she told people. She did tell Jaheira but only because the woman would glare at her when her 'monthly' visitor seemed to be taken a leave of absence. "So..uh..yeah.." Trunks could understand, somehow, it didn't really bother him all that much. Not having kids wouldn't be the end of the world for him he figured.
