Chapter 22:
All good things come to an end, Sir Varris Snider and Laura made their way to Asth's castle on a stormy day. Behind the valiant knight stood a vast army ready to take down the perverted king. King Mathus had managed to not only gather his army, but many others after what they had learned about the good 'king'. Of course Asth didn't know anything about the attack, he was to busy with his new 'daughter'. After all it wasn't like anyone was going to miss just one orphan girl, especially if he had 'adopted' her himself. He was in the tower, in his new room for the girl. He didn't want his already pregnant three wives to know about his new toy.
The guards, were busy as well, with the maids. They never saw the onslaught of armed men enter the castle. They made their way into town with no problems whatsoever. The townspeople weren't about to stop them, they could no longer live in fear of losing themselves and their future daughters to the monster that was king Asth. The army moved quietly though, slipping their swords into the unsuspecting guards as they raped the poor maids endlessly. The maids had no idea what was going on until the men wrapped them up and sent them outside.
For the first time since they came to this castle, they were free, finally free. The army of knights started with the lower levels of the castle and soon worked their way up, the castle slowly but slowly. They didn't want the king to know about them just yet, unsure of what he was up to, knowing him it wasn't anything good. Varris made sure Laura was safe before going to deal with the king himself. He found no one guarding a large wooden door. The knight moves slowly and opens the door to see three women chained to the wall. Sir Varris had seen many things in his life, but nothing as horrible as this.
He used his sword to break their bounds, but because Asth had used them so much their legs had become useless. He made sure to cover them before gathering some of his men to get them to safety. Once all the girls were safe and all the guards were dealt with only the king was left. Varris slowly got to the kings room and took a slow breath as he leaned near the door. The king was not alone, and he didn't want to lose anyone to this monster. Inside the room Asth was still in the room with his new 'daughter'. Asth never bothered to learn her name after all she was just something for him to use.
The king had no idea his castle had been raided, he was to occupied with his newest slave. The poor girl had stopped crying by now, and only sniffed as he held her firmly to the bed. He lets out a grunt as he thrusted into her slowly, taking his time. After all in his mind he had nothing important to do. From the small crack in the door Varris could see the king and what looked like a very young child under him, getting raped. He shivers as he thinks of a plan. If he went in as is, the king could easily kill her. He taps his chin and soon comes up with a simple idea. He kept out of sight as he knocks at the door.
It took a minute or two for Asth to realize someone was at his bedroom door. The king frowns a bit, still holding onto the girl tightly. "Whatever it is I'm busy." Varris had to think of something fast that would catch the kings attention. "The maids are making a run for it, some of them have made it outside the wall." Asth blinks, not recognizing the voice but figured half of the guards he never really gotten to know. However at the sound of the news the king was quick to put on some pants before running out to see how bad the damage was.
Asth never got that far before Varris knocked him down and tied up his arms behind his back. No matter how much of a monster this man was, he still had to face a trial. He made sure to get his man to take him outside, kicking and screaming nonetheless before he went in to cheek on the girl. She was a crying mess, just like with the three women in the tower, she was covered with what the knight could only guess was the kings semen. He shakes his head slowly as he helps out the poor child. "Shhh it's over..." She just sobs as he helps to clean her up at least. The rest of the knights spent most of their time cheeking to make sure they found everyone.
The dungeon had been the worst, and it was almost impossible to tell just how many bodies he had just stashed down there. The whole place was nothing but a horror scene. Varris could only shake his head at just how long this guy had been able to get away with this. King Lance was gotten ahold of and Lilly was able to return to her father, telling him everything. The man couldn't believe it until he saw all the maids in the state they were in. It took days of work to shuffle through the surrounding kingdoms to see just how many of them went along with this.
Only one kingdom was guilty of helping Asth and they were quickly dealt with. So King Mathus had made it to the kingdom as well as other kings to see Asth put to the hanging rack. He wasn't alone of course, any guards left alive were also with the king. Asth struggled as they put the noose around his neck. "You can't do this to me, I've done nothing wrong!" He growls as Mathus looks him in the eyes, shaking his head. "Know this monster....you have no one to blame but yourself for misusing these poor helpless girls.."
Asth just growls deeply as he glares at the king. "Who turned me in?" Laura stepped up and his eyes go wide. He turns to the guards that told him she was dead. "YOU IDIOTS YOU HAD ONE JOB, TO KILL HER." Mathus gives him a good hard smack. "You, and your men, deserve this fate, how many girls fell victim to you and your guards?" Most of the town raised their hands, all women that he allowed the guard to take advantage of. Mathus shakes his head as he grabs the lever. "By the grace of God, you are guilty, I hope you burn in Hell for this." He pulls the lever, and watches as the life was chocked out of him.
Asth's kingdom would never truly be the same, with three women carrying his child, and countless other girls to traumatized by what he had done to them, nothing about this place would ever be 'normal'. Unable to let this go Mathus told the towns people if they wished to come find a new home they could. The other kings agreed to this and would simply let this play go to ruin. Laura lets out a low sigh as she turns to Varris. "I can't believe it's really over...I just hope those girls can be helped.." He lets out a low sigh with her. "I hope so as well, for now I promise to keep you safe, if you let me." He gives her a warm smile. While not all the girls could get a happy ending from this, at least most of them could move on from this hell.
