Dam! I thought him and Wesker left already! I go into chameleon mode. I look into the window on the door. Birkin is working on his g-virus. I see a suite case, filled with flasks that have the t-virus and ones with some purple liquid in them. I’ll bet that’s the g-virus. I want it! I need all the power I can get to destroy Umbrella. I enter the room. Birkin turns around when he hears the door open.
Birkin: “Who’s there?!”
Queen Virus: “Me.”
I come out of chameleon mode.
Birkin: “My queen! You’re alive!”
He runs up to hug me. I glair at him. He stops.
Birkin: “I take it you’re still mad and I don’t blame you, but Wesker and I did this for your own safety.”
Queen Virus: “By leaving me to die?”
Birkin: “We had no other choice. Believe me. We didn’t want to do this. If there was another way, we would’ve done it.”
Queen Virus: “Speaking of which, where is Wesker?”
Birkin: “You just missed him.”
Queen Virus: “I see. Well, don’t mind me. I just need to get a few things and I’m out of here. Don’t tell anyone I was here or I’ll tell Umbrella about your g-virus.”
Birkin gulps.
Birkin: “Fair enough. By the way, I have some finished samples of the g-virus. I know how you’ve been waiting for this day. Plus, I kind of need you to keep it safe.”
I grin. I had a feeling he would depend on me to protect his work.
Queen Virus: “Has it been tested?”
Birkin: “Nope. You’d be the first. Has usual.”
Queen Virus: “Alright.”
Birkin injects me with the g-virus. The minute he dose, I feel more powerful.
Birkin: “How do you feel?”
Queen Virus: “Powerful.”
Birkin: “I’ll bet. Keep it safe my queen.”
Queen Virus: “Oh I will. I’ll be back to check up on you.”
I leave and head for my room. Finally! The g-virus flows threw my veins. Those Tyrants will never beat me now. Once in my room, I pack my book bag. It’s pretty big, so I can pack lots of stuff in it. It won’t weigh me down, because of my strength. I don’t even notice it when I carry it sometimes. Has I pack my clothes and, of course, the anti-virus, I think about how Wesker never under stood why I lugged this big book bag around.
Wesker: “You look like an over packed hiker with that thing on your back.”
Queen Virus: “So?”
Wesker: “I don’t know why you even use that when you know I can get you some nice luggage.”
Queen Virus: “You should know by now that I don’t need nice things to get things done or to make me happy.”
Wesker: “Yes. That would partly explain your choice of clothing.”
He tugs on my collar I was wearing at the time. The one I’m wearing right now actually.
Wesker: “But, that’s one of the many things I like about you. You’re your own person.”
That’s one of the things I like about Wesker, Birkin and Annett. They expected me for who I am. I come across a picture frame with a picture of me, Wesker, Birkin and Annett. I’m holding little baby Sherry. My first and only time I saw Sherry. She was so cute. I wonder how she is now. I’m diffidently taking this with me. Once I have everything I need, I go back to where Birkin is still working.
Queen Virus: “I’m leaving now. Are you coming?”
Birkin: “Nope. I still have some work to be done. Don’t worry. Annett will be here to come get me.”
Queen Virus: “Ok. Tell her I said hi.”
I teleport back to where I met Billy.
Queen Virus: “Well, on to my next mission.”
This mission is going to be a cakewalk. All I have to do is get some files from the Spencer machine that tells everything Umbrella ahs been up to. I know exactly where they are. Than, I’ll show them to the press and everyone will know the real Umbrella. Perhaps Rebecca can be of some help. After all, she did witness what went down at Marcus’s machine. With her being the only one there and all of those infected creatures locked down in the lab, I’ll be in and out of there in no time, with a witness. The press will have to believe us. This plain is guaranteed not to fail.
