Dawktrap's Thoughts
Just whatever I feel like posting.
Chapter: 2
Of course, it was only because Jessica allowed herself to be. She knew it was only Wesker, trying to be slick. She smiles.

Jessica: “You know, someday I may not realize it's you and you’ll go flying across the room like the chief just did.”

Wesker lets Jessica go.

Wesker: “What Happened?”

Jessica: “Nothing I couldn’t handle. Remember, I know everything about everyone here. So, I know what Chief Irons will do before he does it.”

Wesker: “Yes, but, while you are a bit more superior than even me, you’re still vulnerable, but don’t worry. That will change for the both of us.”

He says this has he brushes Jessica’s hair out of her face. Ever since the Training Facility mission, her feelings for Wesker have changed. Jessica no longer loves him ahs a father figure, but in a different way, but that's another story for another time.

Jessica: “So, what are you doing here?”

Wesker: “They wouldn’t leave me alone unless I kept an eye on you.”

Jessica laughs.

Jessica: “I’ve got them so convinced that I actually care for them that they actually started caring for me. Emotions sometimes make me laugh.”

Wesker: “Well, we’d better get back to our office before they start to worry about both of us.”

The head back to the office and run into Barry on the way.

Barry: “Oh. There you guys are.”

He too knows the plain. At least for the mansion. The real plan, but Barry isn’t being paid off or going along willingly. Jessica and Wesker threaten his family. If Barry said one word about the mansion or didn’t do has he was told, they would kill his family. His family was unaware, but Umbrella was watching them. All Jessica had to do was give the single and they would no longer exist.
Wesker: “What do you want?”

Barry: “I wanted to talk to Jess.”

Jessica: “I’m right here. Go for it.”

Barry: “In private.”

Wesker: “I’m sure whatever you have to say to her can be shared with me. That is, if it's that important.”

Barry: “It’s for her ears only.”

Jessica: “Wseker is captain of this team too. He has every right to know what's going on in this team. Like I do and if you won’t share whatever it is you want to say while Wesker is here, than it really must not be that important.”

Barry: “But….”

Wesker: “Don’t you have some paperwork that you need to finish?”

Barry was tempted to say, “don’t you.” but he didn’t want to say anything that would piss him off. So, Barry just sighs and walks back to the office.

Jessica: “I already know what he was going to say.”

Wesker: “Oh?”

Jessica: “Yes. The same thing he says whenever he can get me alone. That sicken story about how he thinks there is some good in me and doesn’t understand why I’m with you. I have no idea what gives Barry this idea.”

Wesker: “You’re just that good at pretending you’re nice to them.”

Jessica: “I have no need to care about a stupid human.”

Wesker lowers his sunglasses, looking directly at her.

Jessica: “Oh. Right. With the exception of you, of course.”
Wesker puts his sunglasses back on, fully.

Wesker: “It’s alright. I’m aware of how my humanity is holding me back. That will soon change.”

Jessica: “Speaking of which, have the samples arrived?”

Wesker: “Yes. This morning.”

Jessica gets so excited, she lets out a little squeak. Wesker just stares at her and raises his eyebrow. Jessica looks around, pretending it wasn't her.

Jessica: “Damn mice. The chief needs to hire an exterminator.”
