Ryukujo is a strange sort, he can be confident, cocky and arrogant as well as wise and sensible but the most prominent trait of his character is his inability to resist attractive women. Ryukujo is a notorious womaniser and flirt often earning him a slap . Apart from this one "flaw", he is still quite the fighter and works hard to be a good shinobi. He often sees himself as a "hero".

Background:
The Sandā clan are a group of both cursed and talented individuals. At the cost of all the other elemental ffinities, the clan has managed to obtain great abilities which they can utilise with the single element in which they are gifted. There are two traits but only one mainfests in each member randomly and is detected via a strange ritual the clan performs on the member when they are ready; often when they come of age or set forth on the path to becoming a ninja.
The ritual consists of two things; an elaborate celebration and practice followed by a choice of two orbs. The clansmen taking the test will be naturally attracted to one of the two orbs almost compelled to touch it. Once they do touch it, this will reveal which of the two passive traits they have inherited. If they choose the lighter of the two spheres, they obtain the ability to lessen the chakra consumption ranks of their elemental jutsu and if they chose the heavier of the two spheres they are able to increase the potency of their jutsu for no extra cost. Once this is done the clansmen is now seen as an adult and begins their journey as a warrior.
It is impossible to have both unique traits, many scientists have tried and ended up dying.

Kekkei Genkei Techniques:
• Sentaku: Raitoōbu - The Choice: The Light Orb {S}
Sentaku: Raitoōbu is one of two passive abilities unique to the Sandā clan. Named after the method in which it is detected, shinobi with this trait chose the light orb at their coming of age ceremony which identifies that the user can now cast jutsu of their element a whole ranks worth of chakra lower without sacrificing the techniques potency e.g: The user is a fire user and casts an A rank katon jutsu; they only pay the chakra necessary for a B rank katon jutsu but still cause the devastation an A rank would.

A unique form of Lightning Release utilised by the Third Raikage, who passed it on to Darui. Not much is known about it but as the name suggests, the lightning produced by this ability's techniques is black in colour.
• Raiton: Kuropansa - Lightning Release: Black Panther {A}
After generating black lightning from their body which takes the form of a panther, the user can manipulate it to affect multiple victims at once by electrocuting them. Like various other Lightning Release techniques, the potency of this ability can be increased through the application of water.
• Raiton: Raiton no Yoroi - Raiton Lightning Release Armour {A}
The user wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra that, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate the user's nervous system. The technique speeds up neural synapses to react faster to danger and to push physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing for tremendous raw speed.
This armour, combined with taijutsu, allows A to utilise nintaijutsu. When using the armour at full power, it causes the tips of his hair to spike up and his reflexes are said to be comparable to those of Konoha's Yellow Flash, making it difficult even for the Sharingan, to keep up with him. By combining this armour with the Body Flicker Technique, he can even dodge Sasuke's Amaterasu and Jūgo's Cursed Seal Chakra Blast, both at point blank range. Only Minato Namikaze's Flying Thunder God Technique and Naruto Uzumaki while in his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode are faster than A is at maximum speed and power.
The armour also increases the user's defences, drastically reducing, if not completely negating, damage from incoming attacks as seen when A deflected a back attack from Sasuke's Sword of Kusanagi: Chidori Katana.

The Hell Stab is the strongest technique of the Third Raikage, whereby he concentrates a considerable amount of lightning chakra into just the finger-tips of a single hand and then performs a thrusting motion, which together allows him to pierce a target in a manner somewhat similar to either the Chidori or Lightning Cutter.
+ Four-Finger Nukite (四本貫手, Yonhon Nukite): Strong enough to break through robust defences with relative ease. {B}
+ Three-Finger Nukite (三本貫手, Sanbon Nukite): Effective against even malleable materials that can usually handle a blow by dissipating its force. {A}
+One-Finger Nukite (一本貫手, Ippon Nukite): Known as the "strongest spear" (最強の矛, saikyō no hoko), where the concentration of chakra is so great that it extends well beyond the finger in a lone point. It was capable of cutting off all the tails of the Eight-Tails and piercing even the Third's Lightning Release Armour and own body, which due to its ability to withstand any technique was regarded as the "strongest shield" (最強の盾, saikyō no tate). {S}
• Girochin Doroppu - Guillotine Drop {D}
After covering himself in his Lightning Release Armour, A jumps into the air and performs a downward kick taking advantage of his speed on his opponent.
• Raigā Bomu - Liger Bomb {D}
After covering himself in his Lightning Release Armour, the Fourth Raikage grabs his opponent and lifts them high up into the air. Then, using his extreme strength, he smashes them head first onto the ground in what resembles a powerbomb manoeuvre. This is devastating enough to shatter a large area of the ground itself on impact. Darui noted that nobody has ever survived it before and had Sasuke Uchiha not use his Susanoo, he would have been killed by it. The impact of this technique was strong enough to snap Susanoo's ribs
• Rariatto - Lariat {D}
The user charges at his opponent, striking them with a Lariat move, which can be coated in chakra. A successful strike can blow away a target's entire chest with a direct hit. The attack is rather straightforward, but very quick and powerful.
When Killer B uses this attack, he creates either a chakra cloak or chakra bones, both in the form of bull horns. He refers to this as his "Eighth" (八本目, Happonme) sword, next to his seven conventional katana. In Killer B's Version 2, the Lariat gains an increase in power due to the ox-skull he creates. He was able to pierce Samehada while simultaneously blowing away Kisame Hoshigaki's chest.
When A uses it, he surrounds himself with his Lightning Release Armour, rather than tailed-beast chakra. His high-level chakra, which is comparable to that of a tailed beast's, would produce the same effect as Killer B's version. The two brothers can combine their efforts to perform a Double Lariat, which is strong enough to decapitate the victim, even without chakra enhancements.
Kenjutsu:

Hadan is a Kenjutsu used by samurai from the Iron Country. Using their ability to flow their chakra into their swords, the samurai can then swing the sword to unleash a cutting arc of chakra towards their opponent.
• Raiton: Hadan - Lightning Release: Rupture {B}
A variation of the samurai sword technique that Ryukujo learnt from fighting samurai except with Lightning Chakra paralyzing an opponent on contact. The point of contact is paralysed for two posts.
• Kumo-Ryū Omotegiri - Cloud-Style Front Beheading {E}
The user slashes forward to attack an enemy.
• Kumo-Ryū Mikazukigiri - Cloud-Style Crescent Moon Beheading {C}
The user swings their sword in a single, large, crescent moon-shaped arc, which occurs with such ferocious velocity that the technique can be employed in situations where only a very limited time to react is available. The swing can be used to counter attacks from multiple opponents simultaneously.
• Kumo-Ryū Uragiri- Cloud-Style Reverse Beheading {D}
The user does a powerful spin, generating the momentum needed to slash at any opponents behind them. The user can also utilise this spinning motion to trick an enemy that's in front of them. The enemy is fooled into thinking the user will attack them, but instead the user attacks the targets behind the user.

A straight sword made from a highly conductive and chakra applicable metal that Ryukujo uses in conjunction with his Lightning attacks even incorporating it into his lightning release armour. The blade is around 2 and a quarter feet long.

Another common weapon, the shuriken is often kept in a holster on the leg or in a pouch attached to the belt.
• Exploding Pouch:
A variation on the exploding note, these small pouches can be attached to a target and then explode a few seconds later.
• Makibishi:
This weapon is primarily used during escape, numerous makibishi are thrown on the ground and enemy soldiers will have a difficult time pursuing because the spiked metal can penetrate the sole of the shoe wear.

• Exploding Note:
The exploding note is a piece of parchment paper which has script on it that serves to faciltate its explosive properties. The ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log. When the note is set it begins a slow burn which results in a large explosion.
• Exploding Smoke Grenade:
When the pin is pulled on this grenade, the result is a large explosion and the release of smoke. This allows the ninja to carry out their maneuvers in secret.

Wire can be used in several situations. It can allow the ninja to create trip wire explosive traps, it can be used in rappelling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent.
• File:
A file is normally hidden within the clothing of the ninja, if captured, the file can be withdrawn from its secret location to file and cut through metal.
• Mirror:
When the ninja wants to avoid putting themself directly in the possible line of attack, they can use the mirror to peak around corners to ensure the path is clear.

Ryukujo believes that women are one of God's greatest and worst creations often citing that he can live neither with or without them. Whether this predatory nature for love and sex stems from a fear of being alone, no one is quite sure but Ryukujo has often been quoted saying that: "I was made to be enjoyed by women!"
Religious philosophy:
Ryukujo is not religious but he has been known to hold certain women on an almost divine level, citing that they must be god and that they made the world in their image.
Political/social philosophy:
Ryukujo's political standpoint is "All for one and one for all." He believes that everyone is apart of the huge machine that runs countries and neither ruler nor subject can survive without one and other. That being said, he also thinks that it is better to have no ruler at all then a dictator.
Background:
Son of the Sandā clan, Ryukujo was held in quite high esteem during his time at the academy. However, he soon fell short of people's expectations as he made his name around the village as a delinquent by starting fights, getting caught with people's daughters etc. He seemed never to want to graduate the academy and felt complacent in his life. he didn't want anything to change until Darui arrived at the academy. The young nonchalant jounin saw a small part of himself in the young nonchalant Ryukujo and took him under his wing.
It was during this time that Ryukujo revealed that he was a fantastic shinobi but that he just didn't want to actually go through the hassle of examinations or the like to make a name for himself, he preferred action and chasing girls and this is how Darui would get him through the academy and chuunin exams in one fell swoop. It would be like nothing anyone had ever seen in the history of Kumogakure and still one of the funniest moments in their history...
Darui simply made a bet with Ryukujo [whom he called 'Jo'] and said that if he won he would be granted a 'special reward'. Now, what people have to understand is, is that Ryukujo at Academy level already knew how to use Lightning release Armour inf act he could utilize it in most of it's forms even crafting a sword in conjunction with it. This is what infuriated people about him, his whole boyish attitude. So Darui harnessed that and channelled it positively. The bet was that Ryukujo could not get a date with one of Kumogakure's most celebrated bachelorettes before the day was out. Ryukujo being the ladies man he is accepted the challenge no questions asked; when he really and I mean really should have asked some.
The whole thing was a hoax.
There was a fake jealous boyfriend, bodyguards and an overbearing father to deal with but Ryukujo wasn't really bothered. He just wanted to get the girl. Which he did, by making his way through the ANBU ex; the jounin bodyguards and managed to outrun the fourth Raikage [through luck more then anything] and eventually procured a date with the girl. She was to meet him at the mountain-top in an hour and soon Ryukujo was off to tell Dairui the great news. Yet, something was wrong; other suitors for the girl had captured Darui and were holding him hostage. Now, Ryukujo had to make a choice, his new found friend or a possible lay. It was hard for him but Ryukujo stood up the girl and his way to the place they were holding his friend. Defeated them and then watched in confusion as Darui laughed to himself.
Another elaborate hoax.
At this Darui congratulated Ryukujo on his instant promotion to jounin. A few years of service alongside Darui also saw Ryukujo inherit his Black Lightning technique. After doing so, Ryukujo promised to do Darui proud.
