Spring Break 2012, day 3, March 18
So today my dad got up around 8:30, my mom around 11:30. Emily and I got up around 12 lol. We all slept like rocks! emotion_zzz

After we all had some donuts for breakfast we got dressed and headed out for the day. We got to park and take a trolly to the town Gatlinburg.

Our first stop was the Ripley's Aquarium. Oh my god this place was awesome! They had cool, interactive exhibits. We got to climb up under some fish tanks and take pictures. I got a funny picture of two penguins having sex. LOL! I pet a horeshoe crab and tried to pet the sting rays but they weren't swimming near the sides sad I took over 150 photos of all the cool fish, exhibts, and decor on the walls and ceiling. For souveniers I got a glow in the dark pirate shirt, a shark sweater that has teeth on the arms, a plush little hammerhead, and a plush little sting ray. I also flattened a penny. It really is a neat place to visit.

Our next top was the Mysterious Mansion. It was a cheesy haunted house that was way overpriced and wasn't even scary. Don't waste your time going.

Next we went to the Blacklight Mini Golf. It was all neon and glow in the dark. It had an underwater theme. There were mermaids, octopi, sharks, a sunken ship, and all kinds of ocean stuff. It was great! I took lots of pictures here.

Our last stop was at the Hall of Wonders or something along those lines. They had scenes and manequins set up depicting illusions across time. This place sucked worse than the haunted house. It was soooo boring! A total waste of time and money. I didn't even bother with pictures because it was so lame.

After that we started to make our way back to the Aquarium to get on the trolley. Along the way we stopped at a few shops. We got some ice cream and caramel corn to go. I squished another penny at the Ripley's Candy Factory.

We boarded the trolley at the Aquarium and returned to our car. Once we got back to the cabin we had some burgers and hot dogs for dinner. Then it was time for the hot tub! My dad had pulled the fuses in the morning and reset them so it was all fixed! Yay! The temp was at 94 degrees. It felt incredible! It relaxed away all our achy muscles and sore feet. We seriously need one at home. Lol.

Now we're just chillin before bed. biggrin Goodnight!
