Let me begin by saying I really love these movies. But I just watched The Lost World today, and 3 a couple days ago. I realized some things.
1) In JP3, when Grant and "The Tourists" go into that one facility, it's the same one that Malcolm, Sarah, Nick, and Kelly are at when the chopper picks them up. How did I notice? Because when they are walking inside, the camera is slightly zoomed out on them walking in, with Grant in the middleground. If you look closely, you can see the SAME truck Ian locks himself in to avoid the raptor in The Lost World. The window is gouged open. Just like it is when the raptor gets through to Ian.
Seriously, I'm glad I caught this. It's AMAZING continuity.
2) I have a strong reason to believe that the baby Rex from The Lost World, is the same adult in 3. Unfortunately this makes me a little sad, considering this is the same Rex who gets killed by Mr. Big Bad Spinosaurus. Think about it: Baby in 1997... fast forward five years... the baby's parents have long since abandoned him and later died, he's grown up but not enough to have a fully adolescent appearance. Leaving him to be the ONLY Tyrannosaurus left alive. Which explains why you see no more throughout the movie.
3) Not a big fact, but I guess I've never realized this because of the lack of surround sound. But after the mercenaries disperse and get picked off by the Velociraptors, there are still some left. When Malcolm and company enter the field and Ian finds Audrey's pack, you can here the straggling mercenaries AND Audrey screaming as they are finally silenced by the last of the raptors. And THEN you hear the raptor snarl. Oh, also when Ian says, "Go... as fast as you can, RUN!" I'm very sure that it was an ode to Robert Muldoon in the first one.
If you're a big Jurassic Park fan (like me), just take the time to look and think about this stuff. Who knows, maybe you'll find something I didn't. wink

2. Spinos are bigger faster predator. It doesn't mean that Parents or even the child are all killed off. It can mean that they maybe on the other side of the island.
3.So what they used the same line.
You are not a fan when you don't know the island is the same!
