The sun had set and it was nearing midnight they had not let up, and only stopped by the pokemon center when they needed to. It was Bella's turn to train so that could fight for herself. A rattata appeared before them and they thought bella could take it.. Bella began with a supersonic which confused the rattata or so it seemed, he used three tail whips before snapping out of the confusion... at which point he used tackle, he was then confused again..and managed to hit Bella with a quick attack..a critical hit.
“N...NO!” Richard panicked and rushed to Bella's side. “nononono I can't lose you this early Bella!”
Bella smiled and rubbed her face against Richard's “Don't worry...Everyones time comes eventually..some sooner then others.. believe in yourself and you'll win..” she managed to say before she passed on.
“Bella...” Richard cried out quietly as if it would bring her back.. of course it didn't this was the beginning... A few hours passed as the team dug Bella's grave. They all stood in silence as they watched the grave.
“Well partners..its time to get a move on... The kid may 'ave been a bit loony but she knew what she got herself into and we cant let this be a waste.. so lets put our chins up and be proud of her and what she did.” Clint consoled them. Everyone nodded and they continued onto Sprout Tower.
***Bella, lv 2-6: We barely got to see your strength.
Sprout tower seemed like a very bland and unsafe place to Richard. Simple wooden floors and walls in a traditional japanese fashion..Aside from one thing, the support beam in the middle of the building was shaking and from what the people said that ment people were training upstairs which seemed like a bad idea in this building.
As Richard climbed the tower he got a strange feeling like some-one was following him, he turned around to see if some-one was and no-one was there... creepy. Then he turned around and a Ghastly was right infront of his face! He tried to punch it...but its a ghost so he slipped right on through and landed on his face. Daisy took this matter into her own hands and incapacitated the Ghastly with a vinewhip and proceeded to take one of Richard's pokeballs to catch it. “Gotchya!” shouted Daisy in excitement.
“Very nice Daisy!” Richard complimented her, “Since you caught him how about you name him...and try and consider his feelings haha”
“OH!umm..uh Nightshade?...no... how about Lich like those undead things from myths. Cause he's scary like they are!” She nodded twice at her suggestion.
“Sure Daisy! Lich it is, come on out Lich.” Richard had Lich come out for introductions. After all was said and done they decided it best to continue up the tower.
***Lich***Ghastly** Relaxed and Often Dozes Off. Sprout Tower.
Lich soon proved himself in battle by training hard and managing to catch up in levels to the other pokemon by the time they reached the top of the tower. When they seen a familiar face leaving via escape rope, Elix.
“He was...an odd child but I sense potential in you..come let us do battle..” The Elder challenged Richard and a short battle ensued, consisting mostly of Hannah destroying two bellsprout and a hoot hoot while only getting hit once. “Your strategies were similar..but I feel a different aura from you... but I also sense pain..come child tell me your problems..” The old man offered to hear Richard's story..and he seen no harm in it so he did. Soon the incense cleared and Richard felt at ease.
“Thank you..I haven't told anyone that much in a long long time..” Richard smiled at the old man.. but the old man was gone, instead there sat his team who all had listened intently, and Lich had a smug look on his face ” ... did he... trick me?” Richard was stunned by this.
