What brought you here? I actually went to a pretty prestigious high school back home (home is Singapore, if you didn't know) and I was studying chemistry and all that cool science stuff. Well, things were starting to get a little weird when my friend Murugan found out he was a naga and later got "released" (that's what he'll tell you they did, but they actually kicked him out) for a sudden medical condition that looked a lot like scales. I found later from him that he was going to go to this school called Aether Academy, which was for people that were supernatural that had issues with their powers. I was applying for colleges at the time, but I was happy for him considering he was so worried about regular institutions accepting him because of his "problem".

After he left, I was focusing more on my academics and I was particularly looking at schools in America, but no sooner than I said my goodbyes to Muru did I discover something myself. While I was experimenting one day in class, I had somehow conducted a reaction from a piece of metal on one of the stands and I ended up taking the metallic attributes and applied them to everyone and everything in the room, save for myself. It was almost like a King Midas effect. How I did it, I don't know, but thankfully no one noticed and after I had a good freak out, I got everything to change back after touching the same spot. It hasn’t happened to me since…thank God. As the school year drew to a close, I started being able to do more with metal, rock, and jewels (I found this part out when I blew out a window of a jewelry store by conducting energy waves from the stones...by accident).

Well, you could say I was starting to wonder where all these sudden abilities came from, but I began doing research on sorcery, divination and alchemy. After a good deal of reading up on these subjects, I found that I most likely focus on a type of magic associated with wu xing, or the five elements. Apparently, the reason why I can use heat and energy magic through metal is because of my zodiac signs. I found it pretty odd, but I decided to go with it, so long as no one else found out. I didn't want to confront my parents about it unless I had to, and I tried to get my powers under control by myself, which...didn't end well.

Finally after almost burning, electrocuting, cutting, and basically crushing myself multiple times, I told them about my sudden dilemma. At first they didn't believe me, but when I showed them by using one of my mom's earrings (it was the closest thing in proximity to me at the time), they completely flipped because they really just cared about me getting into a good college, but how could I when I was a "freak"?

I told them about Aether Academy, but they wouldn't let me go there because it was full of beasts and "demons" and all that jazz. They then found Bedlam Hall, a school for humans gifted in magic. They decided that this was more up my alley and they felt more comfortable sending me to school with humans. I really wish I would have gone to Aether because I could care less for this place. And there was this tournament thing we have with them and I was chosen because I'm an upperclassman. I really hope this goes well...

What do you like? I have an affinity for metal, stone, and jewels, as they seem to be the best conductors for my magic, warm weather and thunderstorms are nice, too, but mostly just because I grew up in that kind of weather (even though it does help some....). I also really like being outside, whether it be in nature or in the city, I just don't feel comfortable cooped up inside.

And as you could have figured from what I said earlier, I love science and anything associated with it, chemistry, physics, astronomy, you name it. I guess you could call me a nerd, but I'll admit that I kind of am one.

Not so much... Even though I'm from Singapore, I hate spicy food. Yeah, I know, I'm kind of a goner when it comes to food there because most of my friends are Chinese or Indian and they all eat crazy hot stuff. And I don't eat meat usually, so I always got made fun of when we would go out to eat. Oh yeah, and that hand to hand combat thing? I could live without it, and I prefer using my conductors as weapons anyway, but supposedly I have to have it…even though I suck hardcore at it.

Powers: I can conduct energies form metals, stones, and jewels/crystals and use magic from that. I guess you could say it's like alchemy, but I would call it more sorcery with a little physics. I can use hypnotism using these as well (it's a reflective thing), and I also can cause that annoying metal-y sound thing that people hate.

Once my powers are fully developed, I've been told that I'll be able to transfer large amounts of energy (electricity, heat, UV rays, sound waves, etc.) into reflective surfaces and then turn it back 1,000 fold. Sounds pretty cool to me, but I don't need to be blowing anything/anyone up.

Who is your rival? Ironically enough, Murugan is my rival. Yeah, I have no idea either.

I do enjoy the fact that Muru's rival is one of his friends from back home. A lot of people have rivals that they hate but, in Muru's case, he got lucky. I do like the powers that were given to him. We haven't seen very many metal messing magical individuals and the fact that he's about as blunt as a certain dolphin loving person makes it all the better.

All in all, I say this is good to go! 3nodding

From Singapore, he doesn't like spicy food? Vegetarianism is cool yo! His powers are nifty! He is so nerdy! Its adorable! Can't wait till things get all splody! His backstory is pretty boring, but I like how it is tied in with Murugan. I can't wait till he gets to Sally's Alchemy class!
