What brought you here? I used to attend a human school, but then weird things started to happen to me. I was having really vivid, freaky dreams that wouldn't be considered normal, I shoved one of my best friends across a food court, and I started to get scales on my hands. On the morning of my 16th birthday, I woke up to a surprise illness that caused me to promptly fall on the floor. My roommate freaked, got help, said help called an ambulance, and I ended up in the E.R. That would have all been fine and dandy except that the doctor said that my illness was self inflicted from stress, and I was released, but sent home with my parents. Then, after a lovely day of me feeling like I was being sliced open with a chainsaw, I found out that I was a naga once I had grown a snake tail. Yay for me.
I was stuck like this for a few days, and after about 36 hours, (on top of the snake tail, might I add) I sprouted spiritual arms from my back. Well, my parents weren't expecting me to get both sides of the family, so it took them a little longer to find some way to change me back. After returning to my normal appearance, my parents ordered me to try and keep my new abilities secret until they could find me a possible new educational arrangement. That would have been great and all, but one day after school, my friends and I (and some poor businessman) were in a hawker center elevator...and I transformed. I was just as startled as they were, and I ended up breaking the elevator from the sudden weight gain from the tail. I somehow changed back after a few minutes, scarred a businessman for life, and got a new outlook from my friends. That wasn’t the end of it. One day during school, someone in my class saw that my hand had turned green and scaly. I was sent to the nurse, and after “consideration” from the school board of my “condition” I was released from school a few weeks before the year ended…at least they still gave me my diploma because they counted it as medical leave, but my chances of getting into a decent university were basically diminished, and my abilities were starting to pop up more (and being more troublesome), so I had to find a better option. Later that month my parents were able to get a hold of a recruiter from Aether Academy, and here I am.
What do you like? I love the water, growing up on an island and all, the sun, and spicy food. I like art, sports, and anything to do with reptiles. I also take a liking to music, but only listening. I’m also apparently good at being organized when it comes to big projects and such.
Not so much... Eh...I don't like closed spaces (specifically dark ones) and heights. And even though I can sing pretty decently, I don't like getting up in front of people and performing/speaking. Oh, and don’t mention my extended family…I really don’t like to talk about my experiences with them. My spontaneous transformations also seem to have the potential to ruin my day.
Powers: I can control both water and fire, but my fire abilities I can only use in selective amounts. My parents taught me a few chants, and I keep a few sutras used for healing and protection in a sealed lotus box my dad gave me. According to my mom, I can summon alternate versions of myself to do my bidding as well as giant dragons. My parents also tell me that I have the power to cause weather changes and natural disasters, but I'm not even close to controlling stuff like that, and in all honesty, I'm kind of afraid of getting to that point. Let's hope I don't destroy anything while I'm here.
