Undreas the Werewolf
This is a story about Undreas, a fictive person; or a sort of a want-to-be version of myself. Most things written are pure fiction while other things have gained influence from real experiences in my life.
Episode X: Part 6:

Undreas fainted from the energy surge reaching into his body, but his vision didn't go dark, his mind seemed to have entered a different plane of reality.

There he saw Eriah, as he remembered her, standing infront of him.

"Eriah...? Is...this you?" he asked

"No, it's not me... I am only what you remember of my appearance. But what I have to tell you is true. I can speak with you much easier here. That spirit who caught my vanishing memories wasn't a very good medium. Yet it's yours to command now, and you'll see that it can be of good use."

"Well... are you mad at me?..."

"Undreas... I did what I did... because I love you... and I didn't want you to die... even if it would have been with me. So no... I am not mad." She smiled.

"... So what am I going to do now?"

"In a way... I am with you now... so everything you experience in your life... my memories and consciousness will expand and grow with you."

"Does that mean... that I can restore you?"

"I... I do not know... how would that ever work? You'll need my body for starters, and it was thrown into the ocean by pirate treasure hunters many years ago..."

"Then I'll look for it! If it means I can get you back to life, I'll spend everything I've got!"

"But... I'd feel much better..." she blushed "... if I could stay with you like this..." she embraced him, and his vision faded into a light.

"Wait... Eriah.. I..." he managed to say, only to realize he woke up on the temple floor. The sun sent its light into the room, lighting the walls up. There were little ventilation holes on the walls and ceiling, sending even more light into the chambers.

"And now what?" he said to himself. He began with stepping outside. The clouds were no longer gathered over the island. They were still around, but they slowly floated away into the distance.

"I guess I've done what I came for... Should I perhaps explore the temple a bit?... Nah." he said, before he started walking back down to the shore where he had his boat waiting.

He untied the boat and climbed into it, starting the engine to head back to the village island. Much crossed his mind on the way back. He felt strengthened too. Normally, an experience like this would have made one go crazy... But his mind was very clear. He was... happy.

...

By evening hours, he reached the village island, and he docked the boat where it was once tied, emptying it of his belongings before the salesman showed up.

"So I heard you were on the Demon's Island?" he asked.

"That's right... and I have no more business there. So I'd like to pay the closing fee for my boat."

"Very well. It seems like you've taken good care of her, so let's go back and handle the payment at the office!" and so they did, before Undreas headed back to Joreth's house. The garden was empty this time. They were all probably inside, so he went to the front door and knocked on it.

One of the children opened up, giving Undreas a shocked face. Then he ran into the house, calling for his mother. She showed up and looked towards the door with a neutral face before she saw it was Undreas, which made her smile and walk up to him.

"Feel free to step inside!" She said with a smile as Undreas entered the house. It sure smelled good in there. "Exotic food..." he thought with a smile in his mind.

"We've been waiting for you... most of us all, Joreth. He's been busy all day thinking about you."

"Is that so?... May I go see him?"

"Ofcourse, he's in the living room, reading his books." she said before she went back to what she did before Undreas' arrival.

He went down the corridor looking for the livingroom. There were doors on each side of the corridor with bedrooms, storage rooms, toilets and stairhouses to the upper floor.

When he got to a doorpost without a door, he could see the old man sit in the room. It looked like a library with lots of shelves filled with books and pergaments. Undreas knocked on the doorpost, Joreth reacting after a short while. He got up on his feet when he saw Undreas.

"Ah, you're back. I hoped you would return... or else you would have gotten me worried."

"Well, I'm done over there now... No more visits on that island."

"... I see... did you find out what happened to her?"

So Undreas told him what happened, Joreth completely believing every word. He was amazed.

"So the clouds are gone now? It's like you lifted a curse from our lands Undreas... just like last time you were here... I have to spread the word!"

"Would you please wait with that until I have left? I don't really need that kind of... attention..."

"Hahaha... just like last time too... very well then. How long do you plan on staying here now?"

"No idea. I'll stay the night here in your house if it's okay?"

"Ofcourse. The bedroom is upstairs, take the stairs just outside this room, and your room is on the right wall, right direction in the corridor."

"Thank you, Joreth... You know, is it okay with you that I go to sleep right away?"

He nodded and smiled, patting his shoulder before he got down in his chair again, reading his book.

"Good night, Undreas."

"Good night..." he said, walking up to his room. The bed was made and a lamp was on, a glass of water put on the bedroom table. He giggled, and laid down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling... Thinking...

Then he shut the lamp off, and fell into a dreamless sleep.
