Undreas the Werewolf
This is a story about Undreas, a fictive person; or a sort of a want-to-be version of myself. Most things written are pure fiction while other things have gained influence from real experiences in my life.
Episode X: Part 5:

Sitting outside the temple entrance for a while, recovering his wits, he started to think how to explore the temple properly, without risking being harmed by the demonic creature in it.

The sky was getting even darker, and it didn't seem like the weather was going to change anytime soon. The clouds shifted though, moving in circles around the island, despite there was no wind to move them.

So he got up on his feet again, this time ready to fight. So he shook a flare until it started glowing, and then threw it into the temple. But it vanished in the thick darkness. This island was truly cursed. There was no shred of light in the sky.

Undreas took a deep breath and stepped into the temple, walking forward much faster, careless of what might happen. It did not take long until those eyes appeared in the distance, slowly floating closer to him.

"Whatever you are, I will not let you stand in my way! I've come too far to turn back or die so just let me look for my friend!" He yelled at the creature, not expecting to get an answer.

"... You... have been here before... have you not?" The creature spoke with a hoarse, weak voice, surprising Undreas greatly. But he was quick with replying.

"That's right! I'm here to find someone I lost in this place many years ago! Now, who are you and why are you trying to stop me?"

"You are free to enter this temple. Just like anyone else."

"But why did you scream at me earlier? You don't seem to be very friendly."

The creature took a very deep breath. Or it breathed out, it was hard to tell.

"It does not matter what I do... I can not harm you. I will not harm you. I screamed... because my memories told me... to react that way... to your appearance..."

"The past? That means... Eriah? Is this you?" ... the creature did not respond. It just kept its ever opened eyes towards Undreas.

"If it's you, I want you to know that I've come to find you. It's me. Undreas."

"Un... dreas?... that is your name?... I know that name... It is the only name... I have known..."

"So it is you! How come you're here? The temple door is open, so you can exit anytime you want!"

"... Exit? I do not see... an exit..."

"Well at least let me reach out for you... it's what I'm here for..."

"You... you're here... for me?"

"Yeah, that's right! I could not get you out of here at first... But I've returned now, only to see that the doors are open again... and that you're not... what you once were..."

"I remember... Undreas... that I saved you... from this... that I... am here... because I sacrificed... myself..."

"If there's a way I can restore you to your former self, please tell me!"

"There's no way... I am not Eriah... I am a spirit... taking over her memories, yet I speak for her... as if I was her... and I have been here... for such a long time... for just a moment... for eternity... I am nothing but a memory... the embodiment..."

Undreas stepped closer to her and tried to reach for her... He felt something, but it was ice cold and his glove froze up really fast so he had to let go of her. He sighed.

"I'm sorry... that I couldn't get you out of here."

"It's... maybe you... who is stuck... in the outside world..."

"Well... if you died... where's your body? I'll bring you back to your homeland, and bury you."

"My body... is no more... it was thrown into the sea... by treasure hunters......"

"Then I'll look for it!"

"No... do not... spirit is... in rest... only wretched... memories remain."

"I'm so sorry, Eriah..." Undreas, sitting down on the ground infront of her. The eyes still looked at him, and they floated down to the height of his.

"I'm so glad... to see... that you... are alive... and well... it was my hope... that you would move on... before I died..." both of them were silent for a while.

"But I am happier... that you returned... to seek me... these memories... woke up... with your arrival."

Undreas smiled a little, as a tear left his eye.

"So will you stay here forever then? Is there no way that you... as Eriah's memories can move on to... something?"

"There's just one thing... that may work... and that is for you... to let me become one... with your body..."

"Is that safe?"

"You will know of my final thoughts... and my final will... and you will have the power... to summon me... as your minion... to serve you... forever..."

"... If that's the only way to solve this, let's do it!"

"Very well, Undreas... Please... stand up... and relax..." the creature said and Undreas did as she said, before her eyes vanished. His body became very tense and his heart started aching, forcing him to scream in pain.

The darkness in the temple wasn't natural. It was actually some sort of fog, or dark energy. It was stuck on the temple walls like glue, but as the energy from the creature entered Undreas body, the fog seemed to follow it, its grip snapped from the walls, getting sucked into Undreas.

He fainted.
