Emerging from that giant, blue sphere
And sliding down the smooth cheek
I sometimes worry, I sometimes fear
For the reason I was born as something so bleak
I see another pass by me
I ask, "Are you of joy as well?"
He answers sadly, "I would've liked to be,
However, I'm afraid sadness was present when I fell."
I continue to slide, filled with regret
That some had a less fortunate fate
Like that other I met
Who was of sadness or of hate;
I alone thought I was bad for being a tear
But knowing I was born from laughing eyes
And feeling like I'm wanted here
Makes me feel it's okay if someone cries.
