I lay awake and dream at night
Still I see your face
Should I be haunted or should I feel loved?
Still your face comes to me
And I don't understand why
Your words used to bind me and now they are no more

You had the best of me and you let it slip away
If you wanted it I would make sure you got it
Anything you seen wrong,
I tried my best to erase it,
Now there are these words that I scribe
These words that keep me sane.

I sit and listen to the music everyday
The ones we used to play,
Your smiling face comes to mind
I sometimes wish to see it again

Your words used to hold so much power over me,
Not anymore...
Not anymore....
I will no longer let that happen,
So now I got these words for you..

Circleing words...
Powering words...
Simple words....

Three little words that so many people fear to say
I dare to step over that line
So I say them to you
I thank you

Finally I can grab those words floating in my head for so long
Words that used to torment me
Throw them away no longer
I will put them to use
