Sophomore year, P.E. class is happening; tennis, if memory serves biggrin
The day was normal somewhat and Steven, Teddie, I think David and Alex were there, and I of course were playing tennis on court 3..er, sort of; more like tennis for crazed winos, since none of us were really playing. anyway, I don't really know why, but it seemed like a good idea at the time to hit the ball at them....with my face.

What I forgot to do was tell Steven that I was going to do this and lunged for the ball, which Steven was doing at the same time, but with one of those scratcy plactic racquets. it all ended with Steven beaning me in the head with it and I stopped dead in my tracks and crouched with my hand to my forehead, since there was blood gushing out of it onto the court floor. Teddie ran for the teacher, and I took a ride in a golf cart to the nurse, who is probably the most useless person in school...I don't remember after that other than going to History class. The puddle of blood on court 3 stayed for a long time, but has since washed away...I think.
