There is something about online friends that you can't experience with real life friends. I don't know the exact word for it, but I know the feeling.
You don't have to look them in the eye when you're telling them a secret. You get to think through your thoughts before you say them. You can openly talk about anything without making it awkward.
You just love the person so much, and you love the friendship, but you can't have them in person. That might sound terrible, but to me, that's so special. There's people in this world who have no one to miss. No drive. No one to want.
Don't get me wrong -- I love my real life friends so much and they can offer things that online friends cannot. But having online friends is just something amazing to experience, and it's crazy for me to think about that I'm a part of a generation where this is only the beginning for online friendship for this world.
That's why I'm so thankful for Gaia.
So many wonderful people have been brought into my life, even though they aren't physically by my side.
Meeting you all will be worth the wait.
I know it will.
