Rants.... =^.^=
Memory Game CHAPTER FOUR
I closed my eyes while he ran. The last thing I needed to do was get dizzy and vomit.

"Private meal or buffet?" I heard a chime-like, female voice asked. I realized he was done running and opened my eyes. We were in a casino-like bar and before us was the woman. She only wore a tiny, chain mille bikini and a too short leather mini skirt. She has bright, red hair that flowed down to her knees. Most normal girls would think 'tramp' if they seen her, I thought 'sexy'.

"Do you prefer the company of females rather then men?" my annoying, Vampire friend asked in a chuckle.

"Spend enough time around you then I'll consider it." I replied happily, with a proud smile on my face. He didn't look amused anymore.

"Private booth, no interruptions." he told the woman coldly. I didn't have anytime to look at my surroundings anymore. in a quick second, he dropped me on a comfy, canopy bed and closed a black curtain. It seemed like a dark closet that was just big enough to fit a bed.

"Are you insane? You are a human, we are Vampires. You do not speak to us with such a casual tone. You do not mock us unless you are suicidal. You just do what you are told silently, understood?" he hissed at me in fury. His voice was low, so I could just barely hear him. The way it sounded sincere just made me upset.

"Maybe I should take my chances with a Werewolf, you make it sound a whole lot safer then you!" I snapped defensively, and started crawling off the bed towards the curtain.

"NO! PLEASE DON'T!" he begged, while blocking me. His face now had a mixture of worry and panic. Why? I didn't understand what was going on, so I decided to let him win as I sighed in defeat.

"Fine, but tell me your name." I asked as I crawled to the end of the bed. I sat down and leaned against the head board and hugged the pillow.

"My name is Greg." he replied as he did a little bow, what looked like it was out of habit. "What else do you wish to know?" he asked in a uni tone voice. He eventually sat down, but only on the edge of the end of the bed. So much for that 'be quiet and do as your told' speech.

"You don't like me. You don't know me. So why are you protecting me?" I finally got to ask. He shifted his weight and made himself comfy. I could tell this was going to be a long story.

"I am protecting you to stop whatever the Werewolves were planning on doing to you. They do not often target humans unless it is to their best interest. Whether it's because you hold some information they want, or because they think you would be a great ally and try to convert you into one of them. Which ever the reason sha'll be, I tend to find out." he explained calmly. I frowned.

"So, you're going to protect me then kill me in the end?" I asked sourly. At least I now know why he was scared that I would go to the wolves, he was afraid he would be at a disadvantage.

"Of course not!" he snapped in reply, "We would use a memory altering potion. Once we know that you are safe, we would release you back to your family. They would think you were at a private school this whole time." he explained firmly, as if he was giving me directions.

"And why would they think that?" I asked confused, trying to grasp the concept of how the memory potion works.

"Because I am sending my brother to pretend to be the principal over to persuade them. He is very good. So as of this moment, you are well protected and still have a good life to return to." he explained as if he was talking about me winning some cruise getaway.

"So.... What's going to happen to me now? How long is this going to take?" I asked. I watched as his smile turned into a frown again.

"You are going to go wherever I go for safety reasons. Most of the time, at my house." he replied, ignoring the time part.

"How long?" I asked again, in a determined voice.

"Anywheres from days; to weeks; to months; to your entire lifetime." he replied in a whisper, probably hoping I wouldn't hear.

"NOPE! NO-WAY! I DON'T THINK SO!" I practically yelled as I quickly raised to my feet and started to make a dart towards the black curtain.

"Please Sarah, be reasonable!" he begged in a worried attempt to calm me down. he was now standing between me and the exit. It didn't look like I was making him feel any better with the glare I sent him.

"You knew about this for a while now, didn't you? You knew this would've happened!" I accused him, starting to raise my voice.

"Why would you think that?" he asked in a hurt, betrayed voice. Nice acting skills.

"Because how else would you know my name when I've never told you before? It was daylight at my school when someone last spoke it." I stated as he looked at me with a puzzled look.

"You are smart." he stated in shock.

"What, you thought I was stupid?" I asked, offended.

"No. However, you were attacked by a Werewolf. Saved by a Vampire. Brought to a Vampires' feeding ground. Alone with a man in a room with a bed, led by him. Told that if you care about your family's safety you may never see them again. And you may be spending the rest of your life with this man in less then an hour. Normal humans would not be able to think in the right mind to catch on to what you have said so quickly. It surprises me how your mind works."

He did have a point. But I felt as though my body has already adapted to this new, odd lifestyle. I don't know how so quickly. Maybe it was the sheer thought that I had it within my power to see it so that the nightmare of my family being slaughtered stays just that: A nightmare. The conclusion of that thought made me relax as I sat back down on the bed, smiling to myself.

"You are unbelievable!" Greg snarled at me in disgust as he quickly stood up. I stared at him confused. I thought he would be happy that I had this reaction, not mad.

"What? What did I do?" I asked calmly.

"You! You nearly breakdown and choked on your tears earlier from the dream of bearing my child. Yet later, you seemed to be expecting a kiss from me. And now you are all smiles when I tell you you may be stuck with me forever. I do not understand your way of thinking!" he ranted in anger. Poor guy, I must be giving him mixed signals. I can't tell him the truth about my dream though, could I? I sighed in defeat as he waited patiently for my response.

"The main reason why you can't understand the way I'm thinking is because.... I have ADD, I don't like to stick to one thing too long." I explained casually. the sad thing was, it was true.

"FOR THE LOVE OF-" that was the last thing I make out coming from his mouth, the rest was in a different language. He continued like that as he turned his back to me and opened the curtain.

"Hey, where are we going?" I asked excitedly as I started following him.

"I am getting a drink. You are going to wait patiently for me here." he ordered.

"But what if some other Vampire tries to come in here while you're gone?" I asked, or more of an excuse.

"Trust me, nobody would dare come into my booth during my absence." he reassured me. For the first time since I met him, he showed me his fangs in a smile. After that, he was gone.

This chapter was much more interesting, although Sarah seems a little off accepting things so easily, I guess you do have a bit of a reason behind it.

You still have yet to explain who this "he" is and what's up with Stephanie, but I hope you do come back to those in the future heart

This chapter gave me a vampy host club vibe... am I correct? whee
I'll have to check out the rest later, ciao 3nodding
