Rants.... =^.^=
Memory Game CHAPTER THREE
"What did you see?" he asked in a dark, low voice. Something in my head screamed danger again. Just as quick, something told me to lie as well. I tried to collect myself, and spouted out the first thing that came through my head.

"I dreamt that we had a child together!" I blurted out randomly. How did I come up with it so easily? I just hoped he didn't catch on that I was lying.

He moved his face towards mine, slowly. His lips were only an inch away from mine. I felt my face turn hot from blush as he gently breathed out. I expected his breath to be hot, but it was cold compared to my blush. I was as still as stone, waiting for that passionate kiss. Instead, he slowly moved his lips to my ear. His cheek gently brushed mine as he moved. When he was close enough, I expected him to whisper sweet murmurs.

"Do not get ahead of yourself. As if I'll ever waste day nor night with cattle like you." the harsh, cold words stung a cord in me. I quickly pushed him away with anger, or attempted to. In the end, I just used his as a spring board as I flung backwards into the backally trash.

"DO NOT.... LAUGH!" I yelled at him, with a tremble in my voice. I was trying my best to keep from cursing. It was disgusting! I think the trash belonged to a restaurant, because I was carefully picking out food scrapings from my long, blonde- wait, short blonde hair? But I had my hair in a long ponytail, when did it get cut?

"Oh no, I would never dream of it." he chuckled at me sarcastically. He held out his hand for me, but I was busy feeling around my neck like I could find my missing hair. His eyebrows narrowed down in disapprovement when he realized I wasn't paying attention.

"Are you trying to tempt me?" he asked in a whisper, but couldn't hold his disgust. It took me a while to understand what he was talking about, and I just stared off into space in his direction until I did.

"Oh, no. That's not it, I'm confused. I'm wondering when my hair got cut this short, it was in a ponytail at lunch." I explained, and dropping my hands from the back of my neck so he would stop staring. It was freaking me out.

"You woman now-a-days. I sha'll never truly understand why you like a hairstyle so much that is named after something that dangles above a horses' a**." he commented casually while shaking his head rom side to side in disapproval. Judging from the way he was talking, I knew I wasn't in any danger now.

"You Vampires now-a-days. I'll never understand why you think 'food' when somebody touches their neck, but not anywheres else. Doesnt blood pump through the whole body?" I countered back, but really more distracted with getting myself up by myself and picking off food droppings.

"If you used your fingers to trace your breast; leg; a**; thigh; or any place else for that matter, would you not think you are inviting some different pleasure?" he asked ammused. His smile only got wider the more the conversation went on.

"You.... Are a pervert!" I stated casually as I walked right past him, and out of the ally. I had no idea where I was, and I didn't recognize anything. But I knew if I could find a bus stop, then I would be good to go.

"I am the pervert? You told a Vampire you just met you dream of bearing his children. And you are walking in the wrong direction." he reassured me casually, while just appearing next to me. This Vampire is starting to get on my nerves. No wonder the Werewolves want to kill them, maybe I should join them!

"It was child, not children!" I snapped at him, twisting my face to the side so he could see how frustrated I was, "And you don't even know where I'm going so butt out!" I finished. His smile was now gone as he had that cold, serious look on his face again. Maybe I went too far? He took a step in front of me to stop me in my path. He put my hands on each other, and then placed them between his.

"I do not think you realize what todays events led to." he sighed sadly. He slowly walked me over to a building with stone steps and sat down, forcing me down too. The way his expression was, and how he moved so he was crutched down right in front of me reminded me of the time Dad told me my cat got ran over by a car when I was 7.

"Sarah...." he started sadly. No! I started panicking. No, I was hypervenulating! Images flew in my mind of my nightmare, and my family torn to shreds.

"It-It can't be...." I spat out quickly, but he understood what I was saying.

"Calm down, Sarah. Let me explain...." he tried, he really did try to help. I could see the worry on his face as he started panicking. "DAMMIT SARAH, BREATHE!" he yelled at me in such a loud, angry voice that it sounded like a Grizzly Bears' growl. I slowly tried my best to catch my breath, taking slow deep breaths in and out. He could tell I was trying so he tried to relax, but you could tell he hated settling as he sighed and lowered his head in defeat. It was the same as earlier, the tears wouldn't stop and I felt the emptyness in my chest.

"They're not dead.... PLEASE tell me they're not dead." I begged through the tears. He quickly raised his head in shock, obveously unaware of why I was crying.

"Who? Who are you talking about?" he asked, confused and eager for an answer.

"My-my family. They can't be dead, they can't die...." I cried out. He stared at me like I was insane for a moment, and then let out a chuckle.

"Of course they are not dead, how did you ever come to that conclusion?" he explained slow enough so I could understand. I sighed in relief. I was afraid my nightmares were coming to life, but really I was just being paranoid. Well, I got attacked by a Werewolf and gained an unwanted Vampire stocker. I have the right to be paranoid at this point. It took me a few minutes to catch my breath. The Vampire waited patiently, until the last second. His smile quickly shifted to a frown as he unexpectedly picked me up bridel style.

"HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I yelled in shock. The surprise scared me, but sure enough I felt comfortable in his cold, hard arms.

"He is waking up, we must leave!" he hissed in a whisper. I thought it was because he didn't want people on the street to hear, until I realized there wasn't a single soul in sight. Surely you would think people would still be out this time of night? I automatically looked at my wrist to check the time on my watch to realize it wasn't there. With everything that happened today, it could be anywheres! I had soo many questions in my head, but not enough time for answers.

"What were you going to tell me? Before you picked me up?" I asked quickly, before he started running. I remember the fight, so I know he's fast.

"I will tell you when we get there." he replied, just as fast as I asked.

"There? There where? I asked curiously and a bit scared. I mean, wherever a Vampire felt safe would most likely be scary to me.

"You'll see." he smiled excitedly. I did not like that look in his eyes. Before I got to spoke again, he started running. No doubt it was to shut me up.

I felt like she got a little too friendly with this man, and too early, exchanging sarcastic remarks and . And he didn't even get nervous or find it strange when she called him a Vampire, or even try to deny...

I'd also think she would find it strange that this man is calling her by her name, though I don't believe they've even exchanged names yet. The two just seemed like they were too familiar with each other to me sweatdrop

Interesting chapter, but what about Stephanie and Sarah's family?
Unless this man is also connected to that heart
