Last night I had a rather disturbing dream. It started when I was running a narrow dark gray stone hallway with several other knights. We had received confirmation that the king was under attack. I, however, instead of going to his aid, turned down a smaller hallway and came out in a bathroom. That's where I washed my hands with one of my youth group leaders. A woman by the name of Kathy-Jo. We had a conversation about god. I told her I was considering a new religion (Jashinism) After a while of that talk I ran out of the bathroom to go aid the king. By that time though, he had already been stabbed in the side by a spear and the assailant was captured. (this is the disturbing part) I knelt down on my knees by a large, dark gray, stone tub. The walls of it were short, maybe a foot high if that. It was filled with a yellowish boiling oil. One of the other guards grabbed the assailant's arm and dipped his arm up to the elbow in the oil. The mans scream echoed in the stone castle. No one moved for a few minutes until they pulled the mans arm back out of the oil. No skin was left, it was just a bloody stump. The guards then tossed the man into the middle of the oil, (now remember it wasn't very deep) where he screamed in agony until he sank below the surface. The silence that followed was painful to my ears....I woke up after that in a sweat.
