When Kira woke up, everything was dark, and she began screaming, and Haru was taken completely by surprise by this. "what the-" was all he got out, and he let her drop. When she fell Kira snapped back, and terribly afraid, clung to Haru, everything was dark, and she could barely see him. "That might be smart, we're not alone after all." He murmured, and she clung even harder to him. As the area got lighter, she found out what he meant, there were people scattered through the hall they were in, all of them looking at her, some just bored, others...hungry?
When they reached another large door at the end of the hall, she barely took time to look over it as it opened. Once inside, She was absolutely astonished, the room was huge, and it was beautiful! Ornate designs covered the wall and ceiling, and there were suits of armor all along the walls as well. On the wall opposite the door, There were three thrones, and three people sitting on those thrones.
The first was A sliver haired man, who looked older than everyone else she had seen there rose, and he looked very enthusiastic about this meeting. The second, was dark haired and looked like he was more preoccupied with other matters. The last, the only girl, had the same hair color as Haru, and the same eyes as well. "Well Haru, Kira,We've been waiting for the two of you. I bet you are wondering how i know your name, well you are going to be the next assassin in this group, and the last time you were here, you were trained, but we locked up the memory, but soon you will remember." Then he frowned. "But first, Haru, we have had much success with you, but you know the rules, she is your successor, and you cannot be allowed to know of this if you are not part of it, so it's time for it to end."
When Kira realized what the man had meant, she gasped, already been trained, next assassin?"Haru..."
"what feeling sorry for me?" he said with displeasure in his voice, she could tell this had taken him by surprise slightly too. "Haru, please come forward," The man said, and motion for the girl, "Hari, please, take care of your brother," he said and smiled evilly as the girls head spun to him, glaring in disbelief, but even with this rejection, she got up and started towards Haru.
For once in his life, Haru's heart was racing, he was going to be killed by his own sister, and it would be terrible. He took out a knife and Hari paused, but he only cut himself, then dropped it, "this will make it easier on you," he murmured and she smiled sadly, then came up to him, and bit his neck. He felt sharp pain at first, then just a dull burn, almost pleasant, but halfway through, he felt a sharp pain in his wrist, and looked down to see she had injected him with something, then the world went black.
Kira gasped, then before she could act, the silver haired one was in front of her. He raised his hand to her head and chanted something, and she felt a rush, then memories of her training came back. All the hand to hand combat, the guns, the other close range weapons, all the knowledge came to her then, and she smiled, "thank you for all of that back." she looked at Haru for a moment with pity, then she looked to the silver haired one, "so what is my first mission, master?" "to get rid of the body in the burial ground."
As Kira lay down Haru's body in the burial ground, she went to get some tools, she hadn't noticed in the few hours it took to get there that he had paled and his hair was turning grey. She shrugged and went off to get what was needed. When she returned, she found the body gone, and looked around, he wasn't anywhere to be seen. I guess someone else got to him before me she thought as she walked away, until she heard a familiar voice, "stop."
