My world
He walked about the land, smiling. "I definately need a blanket." He cleared his throat and tried to make some spooky noises, even attempting to replicate the sound of banging chains. Stretching his wings, he looked at the clear night sky and nodded. The stars were ever so beautiful. It saddened him that only few found "time" to steal a glance of them.. Millions and millions of lights in the mosaic of the multiverse... No artist or musician, no pictures or words... could ever describe them fully. He was alone, looking up at them, and they.. looked back into his eyes... It even seemed as though some blinked and smiled to him.. but.... many of the lights were no more than reflections, ghosts of planets that were long dead... He felt them... He was one of them... He looked down on his hands. "Immortality..." His hands reflected a dim light. Cold. 'The race of man lives as though they are immortal... constantly preparing for something and at the same time... not doing anything at all... Day after day... there is no happiness involved... work, school... adapting to the new ways, changing a job once in a while... they forget to live... they forget to love... to be happy... saving money, spending money to grasp at the illusion of pleasure.... waiting for something to happen... ' He sighed. Looking at the stars, he felt how insignificant he were, how small his pain... He remembered that he was standing on one of such lights himself, somewhere there, between the other planets, as someone was standing, or sitting, or perhaps flying and looking back at him. 'It is rude to stare.' He smiled and looked down again. '...Perhaps.....' He vanished.
