"come on, no one else will go!" Ric complained to Azrei over the phone. "Thats because they don't want to die in the fire..." Azrei replied annoyed. "but' i'll be there!" Ric said with confidence. "that's another reason no one will go" Azrei replied sarcastically. "that's a cruel thing to say..." Ric replied. "that one was a joke. anyways it's poker night at my friends house, wanna come along?" Azrei asked. "hells yeah!" Ric replied yelling into the phone to hurt Azrei's ear, and it worked. that night at the friends house Ric made a bet with Azrei. "if i beat you, your coming with me to Runermos." Ric said smirking. "well, it's a good thing you suck at this game, or i'd be in trouble." Azrei replied. both showed each other hands and Ric ended up winning. "tough luck." one of the other players laughed. "sucks to be you!" another joked around. "well, then, i guess i win." Ric said before he drank some beer. "-sigh- fine, i guess i'll go..." Azrei mumbled. "come on, it'll be nice to visit your home town!" Ric said drunk. "i told you already, i was just born there, my family moved a few year after. i don't remember anything that happened." Azrei replied throwing his cards at Ric.
"Lilia, i don't see why you go to those places, they're a bad influence for you" Lilia's mother said while drinking tea. "i go because i want a normal life. and a public high school is not a bad influence!" Lilia argued. "let her go, she'll see soon enough. one day she'll be like us darling, just give it some time." Her father said putting his hand on his wife's shoulder. "no, i won't be like you! and to prove it: I'm going to Runermos!" she yelled as she started to walk out the door. "but that city burned down!" her mother exclaimed. "she's already gone, my dear. she just had to have her grandfathers iron will..."
"Saika? Saika! Saika, are you still in your room?" Saika's mother called at her daughter. "yes, why?" Saika answered back with a question. "i though your father and I told you to get out side once in a while." her mother replied walking into Saika room. "i stood out side for a bit, but there was nothing to do so i came back inside." Saika tried to end the conversation quickly. "-sigh- i know you like talking online but make some real friends, it'll be more fun." said Saika's mom trying to convince her to get out of the house."there's nothing for me to do out there. plus, i don't feel right when ever i talk to someone in person." Saika said making excuses. "why don't you go sign up with the special task force, i'm sure you'll make friends. all you have to do is sign up for cleaning duty and you won't even get hurt." her father said walking into the room. "but i don't want to do that!" Saika protested. "oops, too late, pack your bags girly, your going to help the special task forces!" Saika's father said cheerfully. "since you don't want to go out side, your going to Runermos and help the S.T.F." Saika mother said while packing some of Saika's clothes. "please let this be a nightmare..." Saika said as she pulled her covers over her head.
"so, Niras, why did you join the S.T.F.?" Marcus asked Niras. "no one is fighting a war and i'm bored. plus i have a feeling someone will be there..." Niras said as she sipped coffee. "hmm, are you that certain person's secret admirer?" Marcus said jokingly. "do you want a certain persons hot cup of coffee up your a**?" Niras said pointing her cup at Marcus. "hey, hey, calm down. he was just joking." a blonde haired man sat down between Niras and Marcus. "Jonathan, why didn't you join the rescue squad instead of joining the cleaning crew?" Marcus asked Jonathan. "i told you to not call me by my first name, just call me by my last name "Davis"." Davis said as he grabbed his own cup of coffee. "whatever you say. anyways, we need to head out or we'll miss the helicopter to Runermos." Marcus said as he started to walk to the door.
