I stare down the chalkboard and yawn. "Angel...stay awake!!!" Maria tells me. I can't believe I'm at school for the purpose of polotics. All around me are demons, witches, beings from other planets, you name it! The demon teacher begins writing down some notes but I turn my attention to the window. Outside...there she is. Dolly. I see her smoking a cigarette and I leave the classroom. "D-Dolly?! W-What are you doing here!?" I ask. "I came here to find you....it's cause of you that I ain't got no job no more." I put my hand to my lips,"N-No...." "Yep...went right out of business...used the last of my money to fly out here and find you." I feel tears coming but I shake it off,"Dolly....California is a dangerous place! You need to go home right away, understand?!" "I don't need to listen to you! You aren't my mother you idiot!" she pushed me to the ground and I saw blood trickle down my knee. "It's all your fault! Do you know how many of us girls are forced to prostitution or drugs because of you?! Angel....you have always ben and always will be the most selfish being on this planet!" she screamed, smacking me across the face. She was beating me now, and I took it all without even flinching or defending myself. She kicked me to the ground and growled. "Get up and fight Angel! I know you know how. You've done it everyone in your life. Your mother..." Kick. "Your Father...." Kick. "Your friends-" Kick. "Your future." Kick. "And your-" Then I did it, I swung at my best friend. "No...don't finish that sentence." I hissed. "Hmph..of course you'd do something like that...heh." My face was aching; no...my whole body was aching. "Dolly...how did it come to this? You've always been my best friend but suddenly you decide to beat me up because you lost your job?! What the hell is wrong with you?! You're a smart and beautiful girl and surel you kind find other ways to make a living rather than taking your clothes off! You'd always tell me that you wish you dodn't have to do that anymore right? Right? Well I granted your wish Dolly so do it, hit me again." I ordered. I didn't think she would, but she did. "This isn't about that! You...you'll never change at all!! You're always hiding things and even now...tell me Angel, what's the reason you left New York? Is it because of that boy?" Silence. "That's right...I know about him, I saw you hanging out with him before...so is it him?" I smiled and reached my hand around my back. "Now I know why people hate big cities..." I plucked out one of my feathers and smiled. "People either lose themselves or get chained up..." I handed her my feather and smiled,"This is very important to me...keep it and maybe-" She smacked me again, causing me to fall over in pain. "I hope you die miserable and alone!" she screamed. My forehead met the grass as I clutched my stomach. Then I heard voices. Ishio picked me up and gave me the look of someone who was frightened....yet worried. "Tell them not to hurt Dolly...please." I whispered. He nodded and carried me to the nurse who just so happened to be Derek. "First day and there was already a fight? Seems like you can't keep yourself out of trouble eh?" I closed my eyes and let my weary body drift away. It hurt alot.


He was the true incarnate of the term 'little devil'. But he bore the knowledge of one that has lived for a thousand lifetimes. Oriel....he was my everything. His blonde hair reminded me of the sun and his eyes reminded me of the most life-filled trees. But what I adored most about him...was his smile. And he would smile for everything even if it was sad. my fondest memories involve us running off into some grass covered field, and we'd play until the very moon showed her pretty face. We would always hold hands; not once did I ever let go...at least...until that day. Even now...I couldn't stop thinking about the boy who was my sun.

"Oi Angel, you alive?" I heard a voice call. it was Sinetta, butterfly charm in her hair and a frown on her face. "Ah! H-How long was I out for?" I asked. "Eh..long enough for the boys to start freaking...your boyfriend seemed quite scared~" "Ishi! Ah...wait, what about Dolly? Did they hurt her?" I asked. Sin shook her headand gave a yawn,"Nope but they want to beat her up real bad...you want me to walk you down?" she asked. I nodded and sat up while she picked me up on her back and we walked down to one of the classrooms. "Angel...Tell me whats going on!!" I heard Dolly yell. I looked at Sephirio who gave a sigh,"The crime for attacking a trainee is death...this may save her from that." he said. I nodded and sat beside her,"Take out that feather I gave you." I said. She took it out and clentched it in her fist. I let out my wings and watched her eyes grow big. "Angel...you're a...angel?!" I nodded,"Yea...It happened when I tried killing myself." "Angel...you tried killing yourself? Why?" "Because...Dolly, I can't stand my life. Heh...even now." She reached her hand out and lightly graced my feathers. "So warm...I can't believe you were hiding something so amazing from me...Or Angel..I'm so sorry for hurting you." As she held onto me, I could feel nothing. No joy, no anger, no sadness....just...emptiness. But I decided to put on my mask and lie. "It's alright...I forgive you." I whispered. We finally left school at about 5ish, when the sun had not yet set. "um..I have to go get something...is it okay if I bail?" "What?! not in your condition Angel! Look at you! You're bleeding a lot....we're close to home and is this really something you need?" Maria asked. I nodded,"It's fine, really! Besides...I'm not bleeding a lot..." "Liar...you're not fooling anybody." Ishi said, hands on his hips. "Please...I just really need to go." "No wa-" Before I heard Sephirio tell me my answer I was outside of the Hollywood hills and Sin was right next to me,"Where do you need to go?" "Sinetta? What? Why're you-" "Listen...I know what it's like to need to leave. Where are you going?" "Ah...erm...well...northern Texas please." "Sheesh that's far!!! Hmph...you owe me after this." she said with a pout. There it was....my prarie... "Alright...just let me know when you want to leave." She poofed away and I was right on time. I sat down on the grassy hill and stared at the sunset. "Goodnight sweet honey for I'll see you again~" I whispered. "Goodnight sweet honey for it's your moon which I well tend~" I heard a voice sing. Those verses belonged to me and one other being on this planet. I looked behind me to see him. Oriel.

"It's been far too long eh?" "Y-Yea...too long." "You look like a goddess now..." he said, patting me head. "Ugh...enough with the compliments you jerk!!" "Don't you remember you and I playing here? You always wearing that white dress?" "Yea....I actually made another one once I moved to New York." He laughed,"No accent? I'm disappointed.." I rolled my eyes and smiled,"One more? For old times sake?" I asked. He nodded and we both layed down at the top of the hill and held hands,"Ready?" he asked. "Yea!" I answered. We both grabbed eachother and rolled down the hill at amazing speed. I hadn't had such fun since I was a little girl. Once we finished our laughing and got to the bottom we walked back up. "No offense but I'd never thought I'd be able to see you again. Once you ran away from your parents...man that was it. You wouldn't believe how many suicide attempts I'd made." he laughed. "Oi...Can it! Besides...you know that you can't die." "Yea...I always chicken out!" he laughed. I smiled at him and grabbed his hand. "S-So...what happened?" "Hm? What do you mean?" "Oriel...Because of you..my whole life changed. I know you know why my parents didn't want us to hang out. So..what happened? I'm pretty sure I have a right to know!" I barked. He smiled again and looked at me with emerald eyes,"Silly girl...you never could let things go...could you?" "Nope~" I said with a smile.


Oi...I'm feeling a bit disappointed since lately I've only been getting one comment for everything so..blaaaah. Anyways yea..this chap probably makes nooooooooooo sense whatsoever...unless you have my brain I guess..It'll make sense later though..in my next one I hope...yea...blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
