Hello ans welcome to another one of my reviews, for this review i though I'd watch something that's considered a classic harem anime (my favorite razz ). DNA² was released around 1993-1994, so almost 15 years old (that's almost as old as me). Considering how old it was I thought it as pretty good, some harem anime that came out in recent years. Here's my summary:

It's about this guy named Momonari Junta. He's quite bad with girls, mainly because he pukes when ever he becomes sexually aroused. One day he meets an attractive looking girl who claims she's from the future. Her name is Karin Aoi. She tells him that the world is overpopulated in her time, to point where having more than one child is punishable by death. The main problem is a family of "mega-playboys" with sexual charisma and impulses that lead each of them to have 100 children that carry the Mega-Playboy DNA, causing them and all their descendants to each have 100 children as well. All this started with a single Mega-Playboy, whom Karin has traveled back into the past to deal with. Then she also reveals that it's her job to alter DNA of other people for the benefit of mankind, using special bullets to change NA. And then shoots Junta, it turns out that he was the first Mega-Playboy. It turns out the bullet was the cause to make Junta a Mega-Playboy.


That was longer than I planned, anyway:
Like I said before, this is a good anime for it's time. Better than most today. The story was great, it was also pretty funny (I just didn't really like the girl Junta ended up with >>; ) The only thing I didn't really like is that each girl that are potential lovers are kinda just phased out and make brief appearances in future episodes. All the girls each have maybe three episodes each where they are the main girl interacting with Junta. But for some that's not enough.

Anyway, that final verdict is *drum roll*

9/10 ^_^
This is one of the best anime that I have seen recently, it just proves that some of the best aren't always new.

Wonder what I'll review next? Well you'll have to wait because I don't know either!!!
(I know it's been over 10 yrs but it would be nice for this to be remade or have a sequel. Ah, one can only hope.)
