I waited a day before I told him about my going back to school. I was still dragging a bit but I sensed I’d be up to it… even if Azu hadn’t been taking on most of the pain and weariness.
I asked Azu to throttle down the link a bit so she wasn’t taking on as much of my afflictions.
He gave a strange look as if to say ‘Are you now.’
I got the same look from mum when I told her to.
The first thing Brat Boy did was to have his handsome pet doctor check me over. I got a pretty good bill of health all things considered. I didn’t tell the Brat Boy but I invited Azu to monitor or tag along if she so desired.
