Azumaru shook her head stiffly. She didn’t know either but she didn’t like answering his questions.
It seemed that somehow the Destined Ones systems had tied into hers through that Bond Link probe and were using her systems as a diagnostic/monitoring system for itself. It was completely subconscious and unintentional on the Destined Ones part but her body had become totally tapped into Azumaru’s systems. It was using her senses as its own and rewriting the Destined Ones to serve similar functions. Azumaru wasn’t sure she liked that but there wasn’t much she could do about it.
The Destined One’s body was using it’s own power and power drawn from another source as well. Could it be the Master? If so that was one seriously powerful Bond Link.
It felt strange to assume the pain of another other than her Mistress… but some how good at the same time. Azumaru found she couldn’t even begrudge the Destined One the use of her systems and senses. Once it had full access to Azumaru’s systems and senses the Destined One’s body stepped up the pace again.

By the time the Destined One had slept away another day her systems were very close to functional and raw mess in her mind had healed to the point where it was generating a kind of scab/field over the damaged portions that were taking the longest to heal. The places that had been broken up were taken apart, carefully rearranged, reorganized and where needed replaced. Strangely nowhere was scarring. It was all being regenerated though some areas were recovering more quickly than others. Her body was changing as well; reacting and accommodating to the changes within her mind but more slowly.

The ‘talents’ shaken loose by the Bonding process were also being rapidly integrated into the Destined Ones systems as well. Their absorption into her system lay somewhere between the rapidity with which her mind was healing and the relative slowness these changes were manifesting on and in her body.
Except for instincts that were now sharper that Azumaru’s own, even when she’d been free. These were completely wired into the Destined One’s system. When she awoke the Destined One would use them with out thought. As easily as she was using Azumaru’s systems/senses only more so. For her it would be as natural as breathing.

Azumaru of course saw no reason to inform the Master of any of this. If he wanted to know about it, he could ask or find out for himself!
