The arrow exploded.

Jenny: Daniel!!! No!!!

Jenny tried getting up, but couldn't. All she could do was watched as the light from the explosion continued. Daniel's body was blown from the explosion in Jenny's direction and landed next to her. His eyes were closed and he wasn't moving.

Jenny: No!!

Jenny tried to crawl over to Daniel, but had a very hard time. She started talking to herself while crawling.

Jenny: Daniel! You can't die on me! Please! Don't leave me!

She continued crawling, and tears started pouring from her eyes.

Jenny: Please... I need you... You can't...

She reached his body and turned him over to his back. She checked his pulse, but there was none.

Jenny: ..... No... Please... no... Anything but that..... Daniel... you can't die on me... I love you...

She rested her head on his body and started to bawl. She couldn't hold the millions of tears in. One tears fell onto his face, and his face crunched up as if in pain.

Daniel: Ah.... Uh...
Jenny: ... *sniff* huh?

Jenny leaned up and saw Daniel's eyes opening.

Jenny: ..... Daniel! *sniff* You're alive!
Daniel: No..... *cough* Not for long... Ugh! *cough!* *cough!*
Jenny: Please hang on! I can get some help! *sniff*
Daniel: You're... in no condition... to do such a thing... *cough!*
Jenny: Don't give up please!
Daniel: You know... as well as I do... *cough* that I can't make it through this...
Jenny: No! Don't say that!
Daniel: Jenny...
Jenny: What?

He pulled her closer.

Daniel: I... I... *cough!* *cough!*

He started coughing extremely hard.

Daniel: I love you...

He leaned up as far as he could and kissed her. In the middle of the kiss, he stopped moving.

Jenny: ... Daniel?

She looked down onto the dead body she was holding.

Jenny: ... No..... I love you too... More then anything...

The tears came back immediately, and she laid her head on his chest and stayed there....

Hours passes, and she was still there crying. She had tried many times to stand back up carrying his body, but she couldn't even stand up. eventually, she started to hear voices.

Voice 1: I think the explosion came from over here!
Voice 2: I hope you're right, because it took forever to get over here!
Voice 1: Look! There's someone over there!
Voice 2: Is that Jenny!?
Voice 1: It is!

They moved closer to her, and she hissed at them like a cat with tears running down her face. Mascara was everywhere. Where her head was laying down was a huge wet puddle. They backed away. She just looked back at the dead face that she loved. More tears started to come, but she temporarily held them back.

Jenny: *sniff* What do you guys want? *sniff*
Voice 1: There was an explosion over here. We were coming to-
Jenny: Just go back. Live your lives to their fullest extent, because he gave his so you could...
Voice 2: But... you can barely move...
Jenny: I don't care... I'm not moving away from him... He meant everything to me...
Voice 1: I think she's gone nuts.

They looked around and saw all the rest of the dead bodies and parts. They were everywhere.

Voice 2:: Did all of that happen from the explosion!?

Jenny shook her head no, and laid back down on Daniel. They just sat and waited for Jenny to get over this. After about two hours Jenny noticed that they were still there.

Jenny: Why are you still here!? *sniff* Go back to the village! There's nothing for you here!
Voice 1: You happen to be the only alive witness. We have to question you, but we aren't waiting because of that. We're waiting because you are our leader, and we intend to take you back to the village when you're ready.
Jenny: ... Only if you take him too. I have to tell someone else first...

They agreed and they all walked back to the village, with one of them carrying Jenny, and the other Daniel. When they got to the village gates, Jenny pointed to the outside of the gates.

Jenny: She doesn't live in the village. She lives outside of it. She can heal me herself...

They took her to a house that was newly rebuilt, and next to a hole half full of water. They took her inside, and the woman inside immediately took Jenny without seeing Daniel.

Maria: Jenny!? What happened to you!?
Jenny: I'm not the worst of it...

She pointed to Daniel, and Maria burst into tears.

Jenny: Just set him on the bed over here and go back to the village, I'll be fine sitting here, as long as Maria has some of her healing fruits.

Maria nodded behind her tears and closed the door behind the two.

Maria: ..... What happened?! What happened to my son!?
Jenny: ... He saved the world...
Maria: .... He never was one to not fight back...

Jenny explained everything to her while eating a healing fruit. She was back up and moving quickly.

Maria: So he sacrificed himself...
Jenny: Yes...

Jenny put her hand on Maria's cold tear drenched cold hands.

Jenny: I have the same amount of pain that you're feeling if not more...

Maria immediately understood what she meant, and held Jenny in her arms, apologizing many times.

Maria: I know what it's like to lose someone you love that sacrificed themselves for the world... We've both gone through it.

Jenny recalled that Daniel's father, the old Fire Leader had died from the Dark force, that killed all of the leaders. Jenny burst into tears again from recalling all of the experiences Daniel and her had been through...

Two days later...

A funeral was being held in the Earth Village. People from every Village showed up, and the village was packed.

Jenny: Today we remember those who gave their lives for us. The ones that sacrificed their lives in defending all of your lives from a certain death.

Jenny started reading out the names of everyone that was killed, and people walked up putting carnations next to their graves.

Jenny: These people weren't only my saviors, but my friends, one of them even more... They saved all of our lives... some of them on more then one occasion... *sniff* They will be remembered for the rest of our lives and for many generations to come...

The funeral continued until the end, and when everyone left, only Jenny remained kneeling over Daniel's tombstone. She laid her carnation on top of the rest and started crying again. On the side of the tombstone, the black rose that was in Jenny's mouth during the fight was laying there. While the wind slowly blew, the petals all slowly blew off.

Jenny: Goodbye Daniel... I will always love you....

As Jenny stood up, she walked away, but could have swore she heard a "I love you too" in her head...
