Christmas Poem
O Father Christmas
Got a new dragon to
Replace all the reindeer
Recovering from flu.

Santa Claus tried to
Tell the snow dragon to fly,
But Kringleflame of Christmas
Was too lazy to try.

Santa thought of the children.
Then he got mad.
“Think of all the poor kids
Without gifts, they’ll be sad!”

Kringleflame felt guilty,
He hadn’t thought of that.
He wasn’t a bad dragon,
Just lazy and kind of fat.

He thought for a long time.
Then he told old Saint Nick,
“I’ll give the presents to kids.
I know just the trick.”

Kind old Saint Nick agreed,
Smiling in his white beard.
Kringleflame flew with the sled.
Over the edge Santa peered.

It was the jolliest Christmas!
The dragon gave toys away,
Spilling them from the bag
As below him children played.

Well, I'm going to draw a Christmas drawing and give it to my friends, so I made a matching poem. Another reason is that I haven't posted for quite a while sweatdrop , and I thought I needed more poems in my journal. I haven't started the drawing yet, hopefully it'll be done and colored by December 25 - Christmas!
xd blaugh biggrin blaugh xd
In the drawing, There's going to be a dragon pulling a sled with Santa in it, looking over the edge of the sled. The dragon's going to be holding a pack half upside-down with toys spilling out of it down to the frolicking children below.
What do you think of it? neutral question Please comment.
