any who i was wondering if you wanted to check out my latest stori im righting
this is only like the first few pages for the first chapter so...yeah enjoy. btw the main character is a girl...just to let you know...my other friends had troubles with that...XD

I relaxed in my chair as the last few minutes of the long school day ticked away a second at a time. The teacher was getting ready to dismiss class and today had been hard compared to any other school day…it was my first day at Madame Blotchwells school of the arts. Many people had talked to me and I couldn’t even remember their names. A few of them cute and a few of them…lets just say not overly attractive. I thought of Elsie and my other best friends from my old middle school.
Just thinking about them hurt. But this was a new beginning and I couldn’t look like a retard on the first day of a new chapter. So I put away my nostalgia and looked away from the sunny window that overlooked the harbour. I glanced and the kid beside me and he gave a subtle wave.
Trying to avoid the teachers glaring eyes I waved back. The boy was obviously with the popular people. His blonde hair styled in a tussled kinda way and his eyes were a deep green and had a cute smile. Definetly a hottie. Just as the teacher granted permission to talk the bell rang rather loudly. I picked up my things and headed to the door.
The school was originally built in a mansion, so it was large and ornate, but the owners went bankrupt and had to sell the house to the bank and city. The school board and trustees asked if they could have the property and turn it into a school of arts. And that’s how Madame Blotchwell’s was originated.
I walked through the chandeliered hallway, the light reflecting off the light blues and golds. I reached the lockers hallway and walked over to my locker.
Desperately I tried to remember what my combo was. Finally I got it and opened the door to a clean and tidy, almost empty locker. I jammed my work into my back pack and as I was about to grab a pencil in the top compartment a voice said:
“Excuse me.” I looked up and saw a boy pointing to my locker door blocking passage to his locker.
“Oh sorry.” I stuttered, embarrassed cuz he was also a cutie. Almost totally opposite from the other boy from class. His hair was smooth and pitch black, his eyes were a light blue with a tinge of grey and was taller than an average 9th grader. I couldn’t really tell his social position but he was pretty cute. But hey he could be a total d**k…looks arent everything, but it would be nice if it was.
I quickly moved my door and locked it. Muttered a good bye and headed for the door. Suddenly a hand grabbed my wrist. My heart fluttered, automatically thinking it was the cute locker buddy. I turned and a girl with short black hair with blue streaks smiled at me.
“Hi Morg! Remember me?” she said. Not really I thought internally.
“Sure! Whats your name again?” I questioned, making an attempt at sounding casual.
“You forgot again? We had lunch together today!” she exclaimed and then sighed “Its Maddy!”
“Oh yeah.” I said as if it had suddenly all came back to me. It didn’t. “Whats up?”
“I was just thinking that your on my bus and I was wondering if you wanted to sit with me.” She replied, as if it was nothing. Well she seemed nice and pretty cool.
“Okay. I guess I could.” Not like I’d be sitting with anyone else.

Maddy turned out to be pretty awesome. She was never seen without her drawing book and she was a pretty good drawer to. We kinda just talked about things and something just clicked. I could see I would get along perfectly with her. She asked if I could go over to her house and I said that I could phone my mother and tell her I wouldn’t be home after she got off work. Maddy thrilled at having a new friend.
“I noticed that Carl seems to like you…”she pointed out.
“uh sorry…whos that?” I inquired, a lost and confused look on my face.
“Oh sorry! Its that really hot blonde guy! With the bed head look!” she replied. “If you want I could pull some strings!”
“Aw, thanks maddy! Are you friends with him?” I tried desperately to hide my satisfaction at how he was interested in me.
“Yup. We’re childhood friends.” She said. “That’s why im not interested in him.”
“Oh…do you know that guy beside my locker?” I asked a little embarrassed.
“The one with the glasses and pimples or the really hot one?” She retaliated.
“Which do you think?” I returned.
“Ah ha ha. Ohhh him. That’s Mike. He hangs out with Carl and me. And of course all the other people.” She said “ He IS dreamy.” I nodded in agreement.
Then the bus lurched to a halt and Maddy jumped up. I got up too, to follow her off the bus. People stared as we made our way off the bus into the autumn wind and leaves. Fall was my favourite season. All the swirling shades of red and orange. It was peaceful and in my mind, romantic. On the walk to her house we ran through the piles of leaves, laughing in suicidal pitches. Once I fell and coulda broken my nose if it weren’t for the pile of leaves that I ha a face-plant-a-la-mode in.
“Phew! That was a close one.” Maddy said relieved as she stepped to my side. “Are you hurt?”
“Nope. Im fine.” I answered. The only downfall to all these leaves: inability to see things under it…like poo. The thought lingered in my mind and I checked the bottoms of my shoes just in case when maddy wasn’t looking. Safe. Note to self: look before you step.
“This is me!” she said as she ran up the front walk. Wow. I thought as I stared at her miraculous house. Big, bold, and creative like her. It was white and green, with a viranda painted a lighter green with balconies and french windows. Then over top of the white paint someone had decorated the house with delicate swirl designs. I was absolutely astounded.
“Come on! Lets get inside and get some hotchocolate!” Maddy called to me, desperate for refuge from evil mr.wind.
“Coming!” I replied. I hopped up to her front door and we stepped into the warm rooms within. The inside was just as beautiful as without. Light avacado to go with the outside and white moldings and curtains. We hung up our coats and took our time with our high top converse. Although I kept my scarf on because it went so well with my shirt.
She told me to make myself at home and sat me down in the living room and handed me the remote.
“Something to do while I fix hot chocolate.” She explained.
“Ah. Ok.” I replied. Flicking on the TV I cruised through their selection of channels. I stopped at a Cartoon channel and started watching my favourite anime.
That’s when Maddy walked in with the hotchocolate.
“Ew. You like anime?” okay so we werent totally alike but hey.
“Yeah but im not like…totally obsessed with it. Don’t worry.”
I flicked channels until I found a good show and we settled down and drank our hot chocolate.
