Last night, me and my sister went to see The Simpsons Movie in theatres, because I wanted to see it so bad since the TV series was one of my most favorite American animations ever!! My sister wasn't too exited to see it, but wanted to see what the whole Spider-Pig/Harry Plopper joke was all about. This film was by far the only 2-D movie of 2007 to be on the big screen (Seriously! The rest of the animated films are just nothing but 3-D! Don't you get tired of that sometimes?). Off the topic of being the only 2-D theatre movie of 2007, The Simpsons Movie did have some celebrities in it, pretty funny jokes that are actually worth chuckling over, and some PG-13 rated things that you may/may not actually expect, except it doesn't have any PG-13 rated swear words in it at all, which is actually okay since it was mainly family-friendly. It even had a plot that didn't really suck at all or have anything to do with any of our favorite Simpson characters being evil (not even Mr. Burns). I did notice that some of the quotes from the trailers were scrapped and replaced with different ones so that no one would be all like "I've been hearing that for about 1.5 weeks and it's still annoying!!" All and all, it was a great movie that is definitely worth the watch for any Simpson fan. I'm giving this one a 5/5.
