This knife in my hand
Is stained a crimson red
But now I will clean it off
And look to the life ahead
I know it wont be easy
Ill struggle through some days
But I cant carry on like this
I know there are better ways
So back in the kitchen drawer it goes
The knife that I held most dear
But now I know I dont need it
For my real friends will always be near
