The End Begins Here
Day 2: A woman once told me that her life was a mass of vines, binding her down to this earth. I was confused for I was immature and oblivious to any sort of problems that the older generation suffers through. I asked her to clarify. She responded, "It hurts to much to tell."

That confused me even more. What was the point of telling me the problem if you would not tell me the root of the problem. That is basic psychology, but she would not let me administer any cure to her problems.

She constantly told me, every day, that she was being choked by the vines, bound to the earth by chains. Every time she told me this, she would cry. Rather than trying to unroot the problem, I figured I would try to end it. I asked her how I could end it. She told me, "Break the chains that bind me."

I assumed these chains were metaphors for problems she was currently experiencing. I was absolutely sure that I was right, but through cold logic, I could deduce one thing.

The only way to release the binds is to cut them

Thus, through my logic, I met her one last time. She told me her problems and I responded, "I have a solution."

She responded, "What is it?"

I smiled slightly and said, "Death."

I do not know what compelled me to display what was behind my back that entire time or why I even hid it, but all I know is I successfully ended her chain to the earth and began her next adventure in the afterlife.
