Broken Bonds
You always see me how you want to see me.
You never see my face.
You're always looking at my shadow,
Thinking you can put me in my place.
You don't understand anything about me.
You don't understand how I play the game.
You don't believe in what I could do.
You don't understand from where I came.
You never hear the words I say.
You never believed in me at all.
You never stood by my side,
Or tried to catch me when I'd fall.
You never support my life.
You never think I'm true.
You never trust me,
And I never trust you.
