Ok, so what's thedeal with Emo and Scene? Half the people in my school use it without even knowing what it means. Want me to look it up for you? Ok,well, I wikied it:
Emo- Is a style of ROCK MUSIC......In recent years, emo, in the popular media, has been associated with a stereotype that includes being emotional, sensitive, shy, introverted, or angsty. It is also associated with depression, self-injury, and suicide.
Ok?!? SKATER IS DIFFERENT THAN EMO.
Let's look up Scene. Ok, before I shoot, lemme tell you that nearly ALL of the kids at my school don't even KNOW what scene is. They just call it emo. Both of these...err....sub-cultures are similiar, but are again, different. Ok, let's look:
Huh...lookie here....it took me a while to find the definition of scene....
....one sec...geeze, where is it?! Ok, I can't find it, so lemme explain it to you.
Scene kids basically have the same stereotype as emo kids, but they don't wear black or darker shades all the time. They tend to wear colorful clothes, for example, ballet flat shoes. Got it?
