Hurm.
Well... This is the first entry... I'm unsure of what to talk about. What to type...

Well. I typed up a story some time ago, a short one, for school... I'm sure what the teacher will think, considering the ending...

Her heart pounded in her ears, sweat caked her forehead. She ran as fast as she could, every muscle in her body aching. But she couldn't stop. It was right behind her. Besides her heart, the growls of the creature could clearly be heard. "Grrr-Ah!" It was feral, ferocious. She hadn't seen the beast's face, only new that it was dangerous, and pursuing her. A load roar. The woman tried to speed up, whimpering. Why was this happening to her? Was this some form of karma? She choked back a sob, and blinked back tears. There was no time for that now, she needed to keep moving..

Turning a corner, sharply, she yelped. She'd been running too fast, and had fallen. The woman gasped, the wind getting knocked out of her. Her hair swung into her face, blocking her vision. Another inhuman growl. Howling, she made herself get up. She didn't want to die! Picking up speed again, she couldn't help but notice the pain in her side. Had she broken something? Tears pouring from her eyes from the increasing agony, careful fingers prodded at the right side. More tears streaked down her face when she did in fact find a rib out of place. Her impact on the ground had been harder than expected.

A sob wracked her body, the throbbing of the broken rib becoming too much to withstand. A sob wracked her body. Her aching muscles pleaded with her to stop as well. With another wail, her feet stopped moving. She was going to die. The creature made a noise somewhere between a screech and a growl. Turning, she got a good look at it. A mixture of blood and saliva dripped from it's mouth, making plit sound every time a bit dripped down it's chin, and to the ground. The creature's skin was decaying, and even missing in some places. With the short distance between her and the creature, the woman could now smell it's rotting stench. Shaking, her knees felt like they'd come up from underneath her.

But they didn't need to make her fall. The creature had already done that for her, tackling her. The woman screamed, but it only lasted a moment, as the beast attacked her throat. She gurgled, blood filling her throat. Her vision was blurred as tears continued to pour, more and more with the amplified maladies.
