Life as a high school freak
Hehe, this is going to be my journal. Hopefully, I will write in it more often that I wrote in the last ones I tried to keep. Just sort of a day by day thing on my life.
Dream time. And this one was, intense. More vivid and complex and beautiful than one I remember in a long time. I lay in bed for an hour after waking up trying to fall back into it. Yeah, it was that dream.

When it started, I was in a house. (Spread out, all one story. Think courtyard, with six 20*30 rooms, two on each side and an opening. Multiple little things of that. Each grouping of the 6 was a family. I was supposed to be in my families area, but my family didn't live there, so I was in someone else's area.) It was my coming of age ceremony. For this, I was supposed to go into each room, and find something. It would be obvious what I was supposed to bring out, because apart from that object, they were completely empty. Problem was, they were completely dark inside. This normally wasn't a problem, because when you went through, you did it in the rooms that you had spent 16, 17 years in. But, as I said, this wasn't my home. I had problems from the start. I couldn't open the doors, I didn't know where they were, or how to open them once I found them! But I figured out that I just had to point at the center of the doors (think Japanese sliding doors, but made out of dark brown-blue wood.) and they woudl slide open on their own. The one on the far right had an old woman inside (she looked like an Alaska native), I might have known her, but it seemed more like she was the proctor. So I went inside the first one.
When I first went in, it was pitch black. My dad was saying that the woman should give me a little light, since this wasn't my home, and I didn't know what I was doing. By this time, my eyes were starting to adjust to the light, and by the time I got back to the bathroom, I could see just fine. I called out so to my dad. There was a badminton racket in the room. Lying in the middle of the floor. I picked it up, and brought it outside. I placed it int he center of the courtyard, and noticed that all my family was sitting where the last two rooms would be, if there was a square of rooms. They were eating and laughing, like it was a picnic. This all took maybe a minute.
I went back into the rooms, finding a baseball glove, which I didn't bring out, and a pair of black shiny athletic pants with two thin white striped down the sides. Someone called to me that when I found everything, I would have all I needed to pay a racket game. My cousins sort of helped and climbed onto the roof, where they found a red bouncy ball which they threw down. Then my godfather started playing soccer/basketball with the three of us, and I knew he wasn't supposed to score, so we stopped him from doing so.
By now, it had been maybe five minutes. But I was tired, so i sat down at a restaurant that was in this complex also. (If the picnic was due south, it was south-east.) It was a Japanese style, with rice and fried shrimp on the table. (It was just one long table that turned and curved around the building. There were people on the inside, but I wasn't allowed on the other side.
Then she came over. My waitress had something to do with my aunt Lisa, maybe she was a younger her, but that's not rights, because she didn't look right, and, she was, different. She wore a black silky kimono style shirt with electric blue edging. Her hair was brown with hints of red, about shoulder length, and although it had been pulled back, it sprayed everywhere, like an upside fan behind her head. When I saw her, I fell in love. I've had crushes, but this was nothing like that. I just looked at her, and I knew that she was the one. She asked me what I wanted, and I said, "Nothing, thanks." And started cursing myself for not being better at flirting. I started to eat some rice, as more people started crowding in, and the spot that she had come through to see me was filled with people. She came back once though and tried to talk to me. But there were so many people around then, that we couldn't hear each other. Just then, we started to sink.
More later, still half asleep.
(To remind myself, Boat, Sant in school, window, blood and one person, comedy, shack and fighting them off, running round stages.)
