Lately I have been having dreams where I was profusely vomiting. At first I thought this was related to the wedding I went to on Sunday because I drank quite a bit (not enough to get drunk though). Then I began getting curious and decided to take a look at Hyperdictionary's entry for vomiting in dreams:

I'm thinking this has to do with my obscene hatred for the Abridged Series. It's probably going to take me awhile to find a way I can get over it.

Update: 11/11/10 A couple days ago, some Facebook profiles got me started on my hatred of the Abridged Series, and that night I had a dream where I vomited to the point where a transparent human heart came out of my body. I'm definitely noticing a pattern here.

I have retired my Seto Kaiba cosplay because the Abridged Series quoters never stopped to consider that not everyone likes the Abridged Series.

I honestly don't understand why some of these people feel the need to pull an Abridged Series quote the moment I show that I like Yugioh. Maybe they're trying to get under my skin - I don't know.

If my profile right now doesn't get the point across enough:

For the love of god, stop assuming I like the Abridged Series!

I had to disable anonymous gifting because someone thought it would be funny to quote the Abridged Series and I've had it up to my head in this - I shouldn't be harangued by these quotes wherever I go. If you like the Abridged Series, great; I'm not asking you to stop liking it. I simply want you to stop and consider the fact that some people don't appreciate being lumped into a category solely based on one or two interests.

And yes, I do spend a lot of time hating the Abridged Series. This is because:

1) I have issues that go beyond simple jealousy

Warning: Slightly BAWWW rant ahead:

I do not have the confidence to do what LK does because I'm very self-conscious and believe that people are negatively judging me when I put up drawings or videos (my current profile is a given so I'm not worried about that). On top of that, I am very competitive when it comes to Yugioh, so seeing someone make such a large impact on the Yugioh fandom makes me incredibly envious.

What makes it slightly more than jealousy is that I love to make people laugh, smile, and be happy. If I have made someone happy, I feel happy too. I actually hate offending people but I only pull this when people _really_ get on my nerves.

2) I can't get away from the people that quote it, especially now that there are t-shirts and other paraphernalia.

3) My sister once told me the more often something is quoted, the less funny it becomes. Apparently a lot of people disagree with her.

Even when I'm on 4chan (shut up about rules 1 and 2) there are people who think it's funny to say "OH HEY IT'S GREEN-HAIRED LEX LUTHOR" whenever I post an image of Kaiba from the Toei Series. Ugh.
