Accepted new security retainer contract with Mr. William Flanoir. Updated company accounts payable accordingly.

Continued seeking information on the hacker "MiniVan". Have so far tracked him/her to a remote area of northern Wisconsin. I was not aware this particular area of the country had paved roads, let alone internet access. One learns something new daily, it appears.

In returning from a lunch meeting with Mr. Flanoir, called a taxi. Taxi driver was Lazlo, the regular pizza delivery. Discussed his fascination with all things automotive. Ordered a pizza in the evening, saw him again. $25.00 subtracted from company funds for taxi, $18.76 for pizza. $3.00 from petty cash for Lazlo. Marking Lazlo as possible contact for the future.

Recieved follow-up email from Romana Volenski with thanks for the offer and position, as well as our understanding in her family matters. Futher background searching uncovered her location in Virginia: her parents' home in Fork Union. Extremely fortuituous.

Researched scholarship information for various ACT/SAT follow-up candidates. Weeded candidate list accordingly.

Stopped a minor security breech, apparently attributed to "MiniVan". He/she seems to have made the connection between our systems and Kwastars'. Increasing security and keeping a closer watch on possible live security leaks.

Ordered pizza again. $18.68 subtracted from company funds. $3.00 subtracted from petty cash. Same delivery boy, by the name of Lazlo.

Bought and sent a birthday card. $3.32 subtracted from petty cash.

Recieved reply from Romana Volenski reguarding job offer via email. She has requested more information about the position (ie: where she would be working, living, etc) and gave a tentative acceptance, pending a personal family situation. Background checking after recieving the email indicates that her father has been treated for cancer of the spine in the past. Were this a betting establishment, odds would be laid in favor of a terminal relapse in her father's cancer. Drafted a reply email encouraging her to take the time she needs in this matter as the position will still be open to her.

Continued researching the hacker "MiniVan" on behalf of Kwastars. "MiniVan" appears extremely adept at dodging detection and covering his/her tracks. Have been unable to locate personal information or any kind of physical presence outside of publicized hacks. This presents not only a problem but a challenge, something I have not encountered in some time.

Finished sorting ACT/SAT scores. Flagged likely candidates for further research.

Purchased printer paper and toner. $125.86 subtracted from company funds. Ordered another pizza delivery. $15.89 subtracted from petty cash. Same delivery boy, same delivery time. Tempted to call it a date.

Helped Kwastars install hole patches again. "MiniVan" returned last night, deleted the patches, changed all the screensaver passwords to "kittens", and left a graphic on the president's laptop of kittens being chased by domos. This hacker possesses an excellent sense of humor and a skill level to justify it. Beginning research immediately.

Recieved notice that Romana Volenski has vacated her Minnesota apartment complex, liquidated all investments and appears bound for Virginia. No direct word from miss Volenski indicates some other pressing business in the area, rather than a tacit acceptance of our offer.

Ordered pizza. $17.58 subtracted from company accounts. $3.00 subtracted from petty cash: the delivery boy was very... prompt.

Recieved recent ACT/SAT scores. Began sorting potential candidates.

Helped Kwastars patch holes their recent hacker was utilizing. Depending on the skill of said hacker, may begin researching this "MiniVan".

Pantry is empty. Purchased powdered chai and Wheat Thins. $8.97 subtracted from company funds.
