Grumpy was a great cat,
she was my best friend

Sadly, she died today, of diabetes

For her I wrote a poem and this will be for me, Grumpies-day

The beginning
The First time I saw your eyes,
They were sad and happy
At the same time

Your fur was orange and soft

You were so small.
Your First mew I heard
My heart was sold to you.

Now..

Your fur changed.
Cause it was dyed.
Your still small
But you have grown older and wiser.
Your mew has been louder and louder

I still can’t believe
The day you started to get
Weaker
And weaker.
That your fur started to mess up
The day.. you stopped with your mew.

Now..
Living in a World full of fears
That I will never hear
Your mew again.

its like I’m crying now
so when your heart stops
I will smile, that you are on a better place.

The end.
When it will be my time..
I will smile
Cause I will see you again
I will hear your mew
And I will pet your soft fur again.
