Oh my god... I don't know where to start. I was coming hole from school and there was a tornado watch. I walk, right... I was halfway home when the wind started screaming in my ears and the rain beat down like rocks. I admit it. I was screaming my head off. Who wouldn't? the winds were spiraling and I was screaming and I heard policemen across the street in front of the elementary school shouting at us to get inside the cinderblock-and-brick building. I had already mostly passed the school so I had to fight 60 mph winds to get to the main entrance. I was soaked through when I got there. I sat down away from the windows and had a nervous breakdown. Seriously. I wrapped my arms around my legs and cried my eyes out.
Then the lights flickered once and died.
For some reason I didn't scream. I don't even know what prompted me; I slept through Sunday School. But I clasped my hands together and thought "Yo god! A little help here?! "
I have NEVER prayed so hard in my entire life.
It turns out there was a rotating cell nearby to us. it died down after about half an hour but I was about ready to pee myself the entire time.
I'm just happy to be alive at this point.
