Summer is almost over
and the school year just begun
In with all the homework
and out with our beach fun
Time to pack our backpacks
and get to class on time
I remember the days of summer
when sleeping in was just fine
But school has some good things
We can still see our friends
even though some classes divide us
Let us now look forward to weekends
